We saw Samoa Joe rise to the top of TNA at Lockdown by winning the World Title in an awesome match. Everyone has waited for it, and finally we can call Joe a World Champion. Personally, I marked out like crazy because I knew that TNA has made Samoa Joe the face of the company. He is the top dog, he is the man who started out in the X-Division and TNA built him up to where he is today. Its great, its awesome, but unfortunately, it won't last forever...

My question is, who do you think is going to be the NEXT breakout star in TNA? Who is gonig to rise up from the mid-card and become a main eventer, and ofcourse eventually win the World Title. If I were to pick one, I would say James Storm. The guy has loads of charisma, his promos are great, and he is a good worker. I would love to see Storm elevated into the main event scene and get built up as a World Title contender, and eventually a World Champion.

So what do you think? Who is TNA's next breakout star?

It's going to be one of these 3. Storm, Roode, or Kaz. Kaz shouldn't even really be in the X Division right now. He's just so agile and athletic to pull it off. He's got the size and skill and wrestling ability to be in the main event. He just needs a character and some personality. You can say Storm and Roode haven't had the chances at the main event, but they've had some pretty high profile feuds over the past year or two and haven't really come up to expectations with the exception of the Storm/Harris deathmatch at Sacrifice last year. I still say Kaz has the biggest potential of anyone in the company if he can just develop a solid character.

If Kaz can get better mic skills it would be him for sure. If not it will be James Storm.

Kaz.

Kaz has excellent in-ring ability, he's likeable and he has the looks (he looks a LOT like Antonio Banderas haha). However his mic skills do need developing, and i'm sure that will come with time, however that's only if TNA recognise his potential and puts effort into developing the guy.

Storm and Roode also have incredible potential.

its a shame his body is too small to probably be taken seriously but the best by far with potential is christopher daniels, the guy has proven himself many times in tna and when he finally gets to start a program with someone other than aj and joe, writers just cant come up with anything(im referring to the program it looked like him and sting were going to have), now he just tastes great

In the heavyweight division, I'll go with Jay Lethal. Seriously, it may sound a bit odd at the moment, but trust me when I say Lethal is a future Heavyweight Champion. If you look at the current roster, Lethal is probably one of TNA's top mic workers. The Macho gimmick has added depth to his character, and he's over with just about everyone, including those who aren't quite fond of TNA. After his potential feud with Dutt, look for him to step out of the X-Division, and make a main event jump.

In the X-Division, It'll probably be Consequences Creed. He's incredibly talented, and he has the look. He just needs to improve character wise, but with the right angle, I'm pretty sure it wont be a problem. Besides, he has the dopest Afro of all time (next to Josh Childress, Classic Kobe, and Dr. J :winky:)

I would love to see Christopher Daniels get a big time main-event push, he has the talent and is good enough on the mic to make that jump to the next level. Plus it gets him out of the Curryman gimmick (even though I think it's great) and puts him into something with meaning to it..

I have a feeling Booker Is going to win the king of the Mountain, because they hype him up so much with the Dudley Boys i mean there is no point not to make it him. But with the next up riser I have a feeling its going to be "the new Abyss"
Chris Park when he debuts.

If Christopher Daniels hadnt gone into Curryman and just stayed in TNA as Daniels he would have been my pick but they screwed him (in a non sexual way). Now my pick would have to be James Storm, Kaz would be second. I see Kaz as AJ Styles, really athletic and over but just not as popular, nearlly.
James Strom is my pick because he has good mic skills and ring skills...

I agree with most when they say Kaz or James Storm. Robert Roode on the other hand....I don't think should be pushed. I don't know if it's just me, but the guy is so boring. But yeah, Antonio Bandaras...I mean Kaz, is awesome (he could improve on the mic skills), but James Storm=badass.

Christopher Daniels would've been one of the top talents in TNA by now but those idiots decided to put him in Triple X and kill his momentum then on top of that they give him the Curry Man gimmick but lets face it Curry Man is ok but would you like to see WWE take HHH and put him in this gimmick? Hell no. I felt like choking my tv when I saw that. I hope "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels comes back soon, come on TNA ya did it for AJ all you guys need is Daniels back.

I thought Daniels was going to be the next big thing but from what I see he won't so I see AJ being the next big TNA star I thought his heel run gave him a lot of confidence on his promos and I think after being embarrassed like that he won't be embarrassed or scared of being on the mic.
My second pick would be Matt Morgan I think he got his mic skills up and has the look.

^ i find it funny how the next big tna star is the 1st tna star, aj has always been the star of tna, even more so than joe ever was, if aj wins the heavyweight title he becomes a 4 time triple crown winner and if he wins it again he becomes a 5 time triple crown winner, hes just been in storyline hell after his fued with rhino

Yeah I know but he isn't treated like one, I want them to get him to Kurt Angle's level after all these guys came in they all took AJ's spot light and it seems like they don't even mention him being a 3 or 2 time TNA champ, they had him as a joke for the past year. But what came out of that was that AJ stopped sucking on the mic he kinda has personality now. I don't know about you guys but I believe AJ now has the last weapon he needed to really be a star and that's decent mic skills. And he right now is the only person that gets fans so fire up arguably in all of wrestling today.

The other thing is it's given the illusion that AJ was never a big star, so when they actually push him again it's going to be special.

well, either Eric Young, Petey Williams or Jimmy Rave would be awesome to see actually become main eventers
