That could work. Take the Christian from Edge&Christian tag-team :).

Though I'd much rather see the badass face :(

If a heel Orton and badass combined with E&C styled Christian could pull of a feud with the same intensity as the one Cena and Edge had going for a while I could see Smackdowns entertainment value rising noticeably.

If he's staying for any sort of length of time, Chris Jericho for me.

It's a good idea, he's got everything it takes, him feuding with a good face would make Smackdown interesting.

Definately, he's so talented, and could easily carry the brand for as long as he was there.

So many fresh fueds for him as well, Sheamus, Orton, Bryan possibly even someone like Miz.

Yes, and it's so obvious that he doesn't have anything to do on Raw that he is already involved in a Smackdown feud. Who knows, they may actually put him there.

Since they clearly dont think he can be the top star on Raw, why not try CM Punk on Smackdown?

This is a great idea. Punk feuding with Rhodes, Bryan, Ziggler, Christian on Smackdown? Another relatively easy way to save friday nights.

TBH if Batista comes back he can save SD. Rey is also coming back soon and seeing as how was the face of SD he can pull some weight too. :dawg:
