I agree with Hunter's decision here. Jericho and Orton don't need it.

Since when did the Rumble become about needing it? It's arguably bigger than winning the title, shouldn't be used to push youngsters, it should be used for epic story-lines. That's my opinion however.

Rumble wins should be written for the hot angle and Orton was perfect in '09 for the hot WM angle w/HHH

HBK '96, Austin '97/'98, and that guy in '04 were all hot angles and deserved rumble wins that year

Sheamus was simply to throw us off

Sheamus was predicted by everyone until Jericho entered the Rumble, and even then he was still the 2nd highest prediction. No one thought Orton would win as soon as he came back to a random SD taping.

Hottest angle? Jericho just returned saying the end of the world will happen at the Rumble. That would of been the hottest angle, coming out as #30 to an empty arena, pitch black with his jacket glowing. God, I'd of loved that.

Jericho winning the Rumble was the logical conclusion for me.

Yeah, he doesn't 'need' it, but it would have been cool to see him win a Rumble just to say he has done so (similar to Undertaker in 2007.) He just made a comeback and we all know he is fighting CM Punk for the WWE Title at Wrestlemania 28 anyway (and that this match will obviously be more important than the world title match that Sheamus will be in), so why not go ahead and make him the winner. You could argue that Sheamus doesn't (or at least shouldn't) actually 'need' it either since he is already a two-time WWE Champion.

I hate him that much that I couldn't even play that promo. Can you tell me what you're on about? :) Oh, is it when HHH destroys him?

I completely agree with this. Sheamus is a good and upcoming star but really, now I'm starting to think every Royal Rumble is going to have a winner who is quickly rising from the bottom to the top. Just like ADR did.

Fighting? What's that?

There's no fighting in WWE, there's no wrestling in WWE!

... and Crayo, I was pointing out the fact Trips buried Sheamus on live TV less than one year ago

Yeah I remember that. I was so pissed at the time, though if I knew Sheamus would become the pale HHH then I would of got out the popcorn.

Pale HHH? It's not like they've grown out the same facial hair or some....

I mean, it's not like they both wear trolling smiles.....

Okay, HHH didn't start out with a stupid accent.....
