Besides superhero movies.....what is universally successful across the board?

Music, tv, movies...I'd say literature but nobody is reading these days either.....are all fragmented and nothing is ubiquitous like something in the 80s, 90s and 00s.

Also I never said "orange man bad"....you just saw the word orange and went on the defensive.....talk about being programmed.

Not a single thing has ever been universally successful. That would imply that every single person loves it. There's a lot of room between universal and niche though.

TV is doing just fine with shows like The Mandalorian and The Witcher setting all sorts of viewership records. Movies are making more money than ever before. As for music, there are too many ways to listen to it for free so you can't expect as many people to be buying albums in 2020 compared to 20+ years ago. Pop, country and rap are all as popular as ever today. Rock is definitely niche now.

Wrestling was ingrained into pop culture for decades. Even people who didn't like it could recognize who the stars were. Wrestling having no real mainstream stars in an era where almost anyone can become a celebrity is just sad. Just take your boy for example. How the hell can he main event 4 WM's, beat cancer, be related to the biggest star in Hollywood and still be a complete nobody in the public eye?

Wrestling was mainstream up until the last decade. It obviously had eras that were more popular than others but it was still mainstream after the MNW ended. Everyone knows who Cena, Batista and Orton are. Not a single soul who doesn't follow wrestling could tell you who Reigns or Rollins are.

You're just coming across as bitter because "big dog" is the face of the era that saw wrestling lose all mainstream relevance.

Also, you're from Canada so your opinion on the US President means absolutely nothing. Not that you appear to know anything about his presidency anyway since you can't come up with anything to say about him except calling him orange.
