Ok, so, in 2002, WWE went through a what people think would be a hard point, in which The Rock and Austin stopped being active wrestlers, and let new wrestlers to take the weight of fully carrying the company.

HHH became the face of Raw almost instantly, from 2002 to 2005, carrying the gold more than anyone, and being the go to guy.

Kurt Angle got the weight in 2003, with his three way feud with Brock Lesnar and Big Show that went almost a year and a half long.

And of course Brock Lesnar, who in one year became the main eventer and the face of the WWE.

But to you, who carried the WWE from 2002 to 2005, from the Rock/Austin Era to the Batista/Cena era?

Kurt angle was always in the top ranks during that time and definately helped wwe in 2004. rey mysterio also helped alot as did hhh and chris jericho. i became a wrestling fan in 2000 and i have to agree 2002 wasnt a very eventful year apart from the drafts splitting and the new gm's nothing else happened.

At 2002, new stars marshed into WWE (Batista, Cena, Orton) and they all got huge response from the crowd. So for now, those three are the top dogs.

But to answer your question, i think it was HHH the most. But we have to bare in mind HBK's role as well. (DX, Evolution, and the WCW take over 2001) were huge events that WWE tried to replace the possible loss of upcoming for the Rock and Austin.

Things were still fresh and shocking. WWE had tremendous booking and storylines between 2002-2003. Lesnar was the man, Goldberg returned as well as Hogan, Nash, Steiner, etc. So no one carried it alone.

But if I had to choose it be Vince McMahon, their were fresh rivalrys, a great roster of wrestlers, and still had guys on the roster with drawing power. (Lesnar, Triple H, Goldberg, Hogan)
