I think MMA is better and more entertaining. I like the fact that the better fighter actually wins. I think that wrestling is kind of a fake version of MMA, which is the real thing. The best fighters in the MMA are better athletes than pro wrestlers for the most part. These are the reasons I like MMA better, which do you like better?

Its a tough question because there both completely different. Wrestling is a much different entertainemnet then MMA. MMA is real, no promos or anything just straight up fights. While wrestling has the promos, and its fake, winners are decided before the match happens. A WWE match is much different then a UFC match, I dont think you can really answer this if your a die hard wrestling and MMA fan like myself just depends what mood your in I guess, or what ever one is on. Now if Raw is on, and UFC Unleased is on at the same time I'm picking Raw so maybe that answers the question.

Yeah, but what if this upcoming UFC ppv stacked was against the Great American Bash, you would probably choose the UFC ppv. I was really into wrestling, but last year I realized I was more excited for the GSP v.s. Hughes fight than the Angle v.s. Joe match. So I knew right then I was going more twoard MMA, when a fight between two guys I had barely seen before made me more excited than Angle v.s. Joe, which had been a huge dream match of mine for quite some time.

Here's the thing with BIG MMA fights, you could spend your money and get let down. Tito/Shamrock II, horrible let down and i was contemplating ordering that ppv. With pro wrestling you know that you're going to be satisfied with big events.

Thats very true. You could spend what 40 or 50 on a PPV for one match and then get a 1 minute match. Id be pissed as hell. I hate MMA anyway. They call it "real" but a "real" fight doesnt have mouth guards, referees, and a "ring". A REAL fight takes place on the street, in a bar, or somewhere else and it stops when either the cops break it up or one decides its over. Put that shit on TV and I'd pay 100 to see it. For now, I'll take the WWE where I know I wont get fucked over with a 1 min main event and DRAMA with the fight not just "Random guy A vs. Random guy B.

I see what you are saying. Sometimes that happens, that is ho REAL Fights go. But you will usually get a few good fights per PPV. As with wrestling, usually you know you are going to get some over the top drama with WWE, who at least does rediculous storylines well, and with TNA, you get wasted talent and horrible storylines. ROH is good but I just got tired of it. I get board with real long matches. You almost just know what move they are going to go for next. With MMA it may be a boring for two rounds, but pay off with a big knock out or amazing submission in the third. I like MMA better becuase you just do not know what is going to happen.

Does anyone else only like to watch UFC when it is live. I hate watching the dvds after it has already happened. I don't mind watching Pride dvds, but hate watching UFC dvds. I don't know maybe I am weird.

I've never got a UFC DVD it seems kinda pointless unless there was an amazing fight or two. I've only got into UFC around the time there was Sahmrcok/Ortiz II and TUF 3, I've been hooked pretty much well actually i stopped after that didnt see TUF 4 and then got back with 5 and am going to try and catch as much UFC as possible.

i'm like truth, i like them both a lot, but wrestling is probably better, IMO. I watch wrestling every time it's on TV, tape it and then watch it again to catch shit i missed. With MMA the only thing i watch over is the end of the fight to see how or why it ended. like other said before you could get a major let down because the fights are real, wrestling is scripted to keep us entertained and to keep tuning in. sure things could be a let down (ie. Cena having the title forever) but not to the same magnitude of some MMA events. On the other hand alot of fights are better and more exciting than any wrestling match I've ever seen (ie. Frye vs. Takayama; search it on google videos). But, when it comes down to it i like wrestling more.
