When I was younger I had a horrible nickname. Hated it, and would always rather have been called by my real name. A lot of times I would just ignore people who tried to call me by it.
A cool nickname would have been fine. On another forum I have changed my name, but some folks still call me by my old one. That is fun.

My nickname is my internet username. Jwab. Some of my friends have accidentally called me Jwab. Also, My aunt calls me Mr. Magoo from South Sioux.
most people call me by my last name, including a lot of the girls i've slept with. My co-workers and bartending buddies call me champ for the most part, and the only people who call me by my actual name are my relatives, and a handful of girls i dated for longer than a couple weeks.

People on he internet started calling me Frie a while back. Never minded it, just still addressed myself as Friemasterflex. Now, Frie seems to be who I am, lmao. Don't know how, but that's how it is. My IRL nicknames alright. Not too many of them. When you have a one syllable first name, it's not really necessary to have them.
This is going to sound odd but I'd rather people not refer to me by any name. If they were to refer to me by a name, I'd rather it be whatever I feel like introducing myself as. If I actually use my regular name, I want to be called that. If I use say, Mustafar Reginald, I'm expecting to be called Mustafar like on here (though there was that one time I was referred to by Reginald, either are fine it was just odd). Suppose in general I'd rather not use my real name, so nickname then.
