Why'd they fire Sandman? Didn't see that statement, where was it?

^ I think he turned up to iMPACT rowdy, then didn't turn up at all the next day.

I like the storyline without him tbh. I don't think there's a need for him to be there since he doesn't have a major slot in the storyline (Due to him not being able to wrestle).

Exactly the same with Raven in a way, He is much better at producing extreme contests than a normal standard wrestling contest.

I think Raven on creative is a bad idea. Considering he is such a dominating personality, he would butt heads with guys like Russo & Bischoff like nobodies business, and be out the door quicker than you can say "Quoth the Raven nevermore".

However, I DO like the idea of basically having him take over the whole James Mitchell position as the promotions primary heel manager. Just use his superior oratory skills to capture weak minded newbies like Ink Inc. and a few others, amass himself a stable. And allow him to basically manipulate them into doing his bidding.

gatesoftanhauser;610891 I think you guys are giving "[I said:
Jake Roberts Jr." [/I]too much credit..

Don't you think it's a little harsh to dub him Jake Jr? I mean, wouldn't he have had to have drawn money first?

Seriously though, once upon a time Raven served his role and purpose, but there is nothing to suggest that his gimmick had main eventer or world title material written all over it. It was pretty one dimensional and the only thing Raven ever did to freshen his character up was do an image over haul but it couldn't compensate for rapidly deteriorating in-ring skills. I can't think of a good Raven match since he and Punk were doing some seriously epic stuff back in 03 in RoH.

Honestly, I dont know if I want to see Raven lead another Flock/Gathering/Serotonin (?) type of stable again, sure, the Flock was cool and the Gathering and Serotonin weren't bad, but the whole Raven leading a group of easily impressionable young guys is kind of bland nowadays, I do like the idea of him being a manager, or even a ring announcer, but the leader of another stable isn't something I'd want from him.
