The addition of Rey Mysterio to RAW was a strange one. I was very surprised, because I thought he, like Taker, would be on Smackdown for the rest of his career.

So it leads to the question, where does Rey fit on the RAW brand?

I really have no idea. If they wanna rebuild the midcard, then Rey is perfect for that. There's too much main event talent on RAW, and I don't think Rey is going to fit in there.

Mid-Card to Upper-Mid Card. I can see him with the IC title (If they ever do anything with it), and I can see him having very good matches with the likes of Jericho, Punk, HBK and Cena. With that said, I don't see him holding the WWE title on RAW. He might get a couple of title shots here and there, but that's about it.

Basically, he'll be playing a role similar to the one Jeff Hardy has had these past couple of months.

I agree with SP... Personally, hes one of my favorites, but I dont think he will win any more world titles. Maybe in the future on SD, but not on Raw. I think he will have a ton of great matches and restore value to the IC belt, and still be popular, but I just dont see him being chance. Even if he does win a belt, he still wont be THE top guy.

Rey would have been better on ECW rather than raw he will get lost with stars like hbk y2j Orton cena tista he will be stuck in mid card. Although he will have some good matches he would have been better on ecw he could be the top star along with Matt and would have had a better chance at getting ecw title more than wwe title.

Who knows? Who really cares?

RAW has become a little kiddie show, so I'm sure Rey Rey will be going over all the "bad guys" just like his fellow superhero's in both the main event and upper mid-card.

Agree with Jose...with the Intercontinental title and matches with Chris Jericho, but that's about it.

He could be used as a tool to turn Batista heel for a matchup with Cena.

If Batista turns on and beats down Rey, its automatic heel heat.

Intercontinental Title means nothing now. *sigh. no offense to Jericho. but what's the point of holding it but not defending it?.

As for the topic.

Yeah. Rey Rey would fit very nicely on the Mid card on RAW. feuds with HBK, Punk and Y2J could really bring up ratings.

and the post above me is possible. and it would be very interesting if Rey Rey or 'Tista wins the IT. and feuds over it. who would turn heel? hmmm.

I wouldn't automatically say Rey Rey will be in the midcard for long. He's a main eventer and will be main eventing some, but lol...is WWE really going to keep at it with these "Face vs Face, I'm better than you" storylines? Because they are a complete bore (HHH vs Cena II is the biggest snooze since Khali/Tista)

It looks that way though once you look up and down the roster.

I think he fits in America,WWE,Raw because he just would work better with the R/-\W superstars better than the SD! superstars.
