If they put Batista over Hunter three times with the world title then they might’ve had him beat Brock. And even if he lost to Brock that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t have been huge.

Generally, I don't think Cena or Batista would be that badly hurt by Lesnar staying, if anything though, it would actually do a lot to keep audiences intrigued by having a big four in Lesnar, Cena, Batista, and Orton. Throw in RVD and Edge and honestly, things are *way* more intriguing in the WWE than if Lesnar left when he did. You could have a myriad of incredible matchups that would add some solid box office attraction.
