Letting Punk Vs. Burke open the show might be a pretty good idea, could get really get the crowd amped up. I actually expect them to be about the 3rd match on the card, and for Londrick Vs. C & M to open the show.

Either way, I think they can put on a decent match, but like what was said, I'm not sure they'll get enough time to really pull it off.

I'm nearly 100% certain that they'll go with that option! Unfortunately!

Or maybe The WWE Tag Titles Match. It'll either be one of those! Afterall, Matt Hardy is WWE's Curtain Jerker for PPV's!

Agreed, it wouldn't surprise me for either tag title match to open the show. I think Londrick/C&M would be probably be at a little faster pace and could be a nice little opener.

Here's a thought for everyone, When do you Punk will get moved up to the main roster?

I'd love to see someone come to ECW, like Anigma stated before Shelton Benjamin coming in would be great. Sadly I only see Punk holding the title until Morrison comes back and then he will drop it back to him.

By Main Roster i belive you mean Raw & Smackdown!... Eventhough ECW is Technically "The Main Roster" as well, but i get what you mean.

Well, it's hard to tell. I don't see him leaving by the end of the year, simply because he's the face of the brand & the longer you let him run with that the better he'll come. Personnaly i wouldn't mind him losing the title in his Home Town of Chicago (No Mercy) by a screwjob or something. Have him then quest for the title then for months on end untill he finnaly get's his shot at Mania 24. Bit like they did with Lesnar back in 02/03...

After he wins the title again, i wouldn't mind what they do... What i wouldn't mind is if he finnaly get's his title back (Assuming the above plan goes right) he turns Heel & goes into a feud with the top face on ECW. Have him lose the rubber match in a "loser leaves town" kind of environment & then your free to put him on whatever show you want.

Well, that's the way i'd book him, personally. Again, this is only IMO because not many of you would probably like the fact of Punk losing it in Chicago!

This whole situation (Morrison getting suspended, Punk given the title) is just bad timing. WWE better start throwing RAW and Smackdown superstars over to ECW because ECW had no one besides Punk/Morrison to battle it out for the title. Dreamer/Punk could work like a fight for respect, Punk/Big Daddy V would just be unrealistic. I don't watch ECW, I'm just voicing my opinion on this whole thing.

ECW's my favorite brand, because I like CM Punk, John Morrison, The Boogeyman, Big Daddy V, The Miz, and Elijah Burke. So I say CM Punk fueds with any of the guys I just listed, but maybe not Big Daddy V, because Big Daddy V isn't championship, or even #1 Contendership material in my opinion. Plus, they could always bring Finlay, or Rey Mysetrio in, but Rey Mysteio fueding with CM Punk would suck. So maybe The Miz or Elijah Burke until we see the return of John Morrison, then we bring in Finlay, who faces off with Morrison and Punk. Oh, and I almost forgot that Marquis Cor Von is an option, if ECW becomes really desperate.

Wow, you miss alot not having cable, I watched this week and CM Punk has teh ECW title *Not complaining though* I think he should actually stay with his Burke feud for a few more months then feud with Morrison or Dreamer*this one may be wishful thinking though*.

If Punk loses the title to Morrison right when gets back, then the WWE should have put the title on someone else when Morrison got suspended. I think that a short reign might make CM Punk look bad and they should have just saved his title win for a bigger stage. (By short reign, I mean the month until Morrison gets back, which would be like one title defense.)

It's not all that bad... remember 2002, Lesnar's title win felt a bit premature & non-impactfull, but in the long run he still managed to get that carrer defining moment at Wrestlemania 19.

So nothing's stoping Punk from winning it again. Just because he would've been a former champion won't really make a diffrence IMO!
