What the hell is up with this Anonymous GM thing? When are they finally going to reveal who it is? This has been long overdue for months and I think that it's time that they reveal the actual GM so Cole can stop getting on that stupid podium ever 5 minutes. I mean seriously, it's obvious that it's Cole. Just reveal it already.

Considering it is less of a drain on ring-time when compared to the typical GMs of old, I'm happy to sit back and let it continue.

As for the widespread "It's definately" Cole sentiments shared accross these (and other) forums...

Simple question: WHY?

It's been left so they can pretty much reveal anyone as GM as and when they like and, dispite knowing wrestling's love of swerves, you're all insistent on it being the most obvious and (only) 'teased' option?

Let's just say it IS Cole... Then that's one hell of a shit pay-off to the angle.

Besides, taking away Cole's saying "And I quote" would be like preventing Vicki from saying "Excuuuuse me!!!"... Bad move.

Why wouldn't it be Cole? The past several months have nothing but him build himself as one of the most hated figures in pro-wrestling today. They are slowly building him to do something big and I wish they would start to focus a little more attention to him lately to foreshadow what that something is. I wouldn't mind him being the GM considering the fact that he's over as fuck and needs to take the next step forward.

What.. it would make absolutely zero sense if the GM was Cole and would be utterly Blue if you've even been remotely watching Raw (or fucking Smackdown or NXT) lately...

Why wouldn't it be Cole?

You first! ;o]

The past several months have nothing but him build himself as one of the most hated figures in pro-wrestling today.

....AND being an integral part of Miz & Bryan's pushes. (Although I would 'agree' that he has got himself over far more than those he's been 'deployed' to help and, topically, all too frequently the commentary booth becomes far too focussed 'on' him.)

They are slowly building him to do something big and I wish they would start to focus a little more attention to him lately to foreshadow what that something is.

Maybe screwing Lawler and getting the above two guys over was as big as it is/was intended to get?

TBH, I'd welcome that. IMO, we really don't need another figure like Mr McMahon chomping their way through TV time. Mid-card guy's struggle to get enough TV time to get over in as it is (further compounded by the evidence that in some cases it's felt that a mere single TV appearance or even a few vignettes should be enough to get a guy over).

I wouldn't mind him being the GM considering the fact that he's over as fuck and needs to take the next step forward.

Characterwise, I have no problem with it, but see above...

I just find it curious that virtually no-one seems to be considering any kind of swerve bearing in mind even a mentally challenged 5 year old would have had the thought that "Hmmm, maybe Cole is the GM"...

Food for thought..... Surely he's not beavering away out of camera shot; emailing himself regarding spontaneously evolving situations as they arise throughout the show?

Cole shouldn't be GM, it's been so long since a good heel announcer and don't take it away now that we have one.

I'm hoping that the GM is Chris Jericho, personally.

This post was made December 21st. It should be known that this poster and I have general dislike for each other, however;
I find this post to be very agreeable.
Coincidence with the date?

It doesn't need to be revealed ASAP. The noise still brings a good reaction, there's no GM to mettle and take away from storyline development, and it's something different. Obviously I'd like an answer at some point, but I see no reason why it has to be done pronto. The revelation could either be used for a feuding leading into Wrestlemania or as an angle in the months after 'Mania, when things tend to get a little stale.

But it's not a developing storyline. They have lost focus on building the revelation...

Wales, the land of beer and sheep.
They're going to keep up with the anonymous GM storyline until it gets stale among fans who aren't part of the IWC. It isn't hurting the show in anyway and the longer they draw it out, the bigger the unveiling will be.

do you remember when cm punk had the masked joey mercury? by the end no-one really cared who it was. The gm thing is starting to look like that.it needs to be revealed soon, or people wont care. The rumble is probably the place to do it, unless they are planning on making it a wrestler who was injured.
