Hitting back wouldn't be my first reaction, but if they insist on punching me or whatever, I have no qualms in defending myself. If women are brave enough to hit men, then surely they'd be equally as brave to get hit too.

Depends how big/tough she is and how angry she is. I've had it happen only once that a chick was trying to physically assault me and I was able to get her by the wrists and put her on her back with a simple hip throw and hold her down for a few seconds telling her to cool it, and luckily she did.

That would likely be my starting point with any chick, but if she kept coming at me and swinging I wouldn't feel bad throwing a punch to defend myself. It is my last option, but I don't feel bad punching a female if I really felt I had to.

bottom line the "never hit a woman" idea is crazy. there are certainly situations that it is merited. Trust me, there are chicks out there that don't fit the mold when people think "don't hit a woman". some of em are tough SOBs. ever watch stone cold's broken skull ranch? I wouldn't have any choice but to throw hands if one of those crossfit bitches was coming at me with the intentions of causing me bodily harm.

Well it depends if it's an excessive attack I'll probably try to restrain but if it grows even more out of hand I would think retaliation would be the next step.

Also it depends on the stature of the women (even a man) I would never hit a person substantially smaller than me.
