Adding an overused gimmick to a match that's already happened twice doesn't make it better. The match last year was completely overrated, it doesn't even break into the top 5 best matches from last year in my opinion. Watch it again and analyse it.

For me the build up has been embarrassingly bad, including their encounter from last year.

Sure the match will be entertaining but only because of the outcome, will the streak end? It'll piss 98% of fans if the streak did end, and if it doesn't end will anyone really be surprised?

Dude, this is Wrestle F'N Mania, you think people will care about an overused gimmick when the they see the Cell, when they hear the Cell music, when Taker and Trips (the biggest HIAC legends) collide? No one will care about WWE's embarrasing treatment of the gimmick, they will want to see them tear the stadium down, the build will not matter, the last year's match will not matter. Taker and Trips even crossed the line last year, just imagine what will they do inside the CELL.

Not much, it's just another cage match now'adays. Sorry to bring a downer on it but what could possibly happen inside the sell to make it incredible? Unless one of them take a big big bump, I can see it being overrated again. Perhaps I'm being bias since I despise the idea that these two face off once again, Shawn being involved could make it bearable, the emotion of his feud with Taker absolutely pummels the emotion between HHH vs Taker.

They've been building this up as the "last of our generation". While that's a great way to bury the entire roster, it sounds like they want to have an HIAC match the way they used to, with all the bumps, weapons and cell spots you could ask for. If anyone can persuade Vince to lower the restraints on these matches, you'd think it would be these two. Plus, suspending these guys isn't going to do anything if they don't come back for a while.

I can't wait for the match, even though the build sucks, it doesn't really need it. The Streak is the most impressive thing in WWE right now, it's far more important than just holding the belt. It's safe to wonder if Taker will end his career choke-slamming Triple H through the cell/off the cell/off the cell through the announce table. Plus the match isn't that predictable since God's involved, and the consensus opinion on last year's match was that it was almost MOTY. What will happen if they add a cell? And why add Shawn Michaels to all of this?

And someone brought up Kane interfering: Will Zach Ryder be back for Mania? Triple Threat for the US title?

Don't watch it then Crayo. It's the second biggest draw at WrestleMania. Turn it off when that match is on but you'll miss one hell of a battle.

I'll tell you one thing though, I'll be watching. I'll be sat in the stadium fucking loving every minute of this epic battle.

This has all the signs of a severe botch going wrong and ending in a no-contest...last years match was just HHH following Taker around and the only thing Taker did was use hell's gate...for me Taker is legitimately past it, his body couldn't cope last year and it will most certainly not be able to cope with HIAC this year.
HBK shouldn't be involved, probably won't, I mean he did the build up last year aswell and wasn't involved.

He does, not to mention Mick Foley's around. But this match doesn't anyone else. EC needed some surprises and they gave us none, so hopefully they won't give us any when they don't need them.

Unless they want :shovel: does to end the streak... he may as well do it with Kane's interference, turning the kayfabe owner of the company heel... Interesting.
