Seems almost too simple (and predictable.....not that that's always a bad thing):

Sting and HHH face off at Fast Lane, setting up a match at 'Mania, probably some sort of stipulation that should Sting lose, he's fired (has it even been acknowledged in storyline that he's a WWE employee?...not being an asshole, I just don't remember it being said) or banned from WWE or something along those lines; if Sting wins, he's named Raw GM or WWE Commissioner (my personal favorite choice) or something along those lines.

I want Sting to throw some epic dropkicks at WrestleMania. Dropkicks that would make Ziggler know that Sting is his daddy.

Ever since Sting interfered the first time, I figured there would be a match between Sting and HHH at Wrestlemania. Them having a confrontation at Fastlane strengthens that prediction even more. I don't anticipate them having a match until then but maybe some brawls and additional confrontations from now until then.

We got a real fuckin Nostradamus over here

Not really sure if a 55 year old man could outshine a 35 year old man when it comes to a dropkick, but I guess we'll see.

It's a little thing called "wishful thinking".

Sting dropkicking someone from the rafters or while repelling from the rafters, now that would be wishful thinking, doe. :zayn:

lol that would be awesome.

I'm thinking about Sting's 2006-07 stuff in TNA. He was in beast shape and throwing dropkicks like he did in days of yore. Clearly he's not going to throw 'em like Zig Zag Man does nowadays, but I think for ONE match at his ONE (for now) WrestleMania... he's gonna bust some shit out. Dropkick, Top rope splash, shit like that.

I'm not expecting Sting vs Cactus Jack - Beach Blast 1992. I'm thinking more of how he wrestled against Hogan at Starrcade. I watched it back recently and remember how I felt seeing it initially at 17. Sting was THE FUCKING MAN at that moment. One of the few things WCW really did well was how he was booked. He was so over and Hogan was such a good heel that when you watch back, Sting really didn't do a lot in terms of moves. What he did worked though. Of course it helped that Hogan would take a powder after the dropkick and walk around the ring, selling like he'd just been hit with a shotgun blast. I love that sort of shit. I think it'll be like that with Hunter.

Hunter's a different heel though. He'll do the cowardly shit, but he'll also take it to you in a way Hogan wouldn't. Still when it comes time for Sting to do his comeback, he's just gotta fire up and the crowd will go bananas. A couple dropkicks, a Stinger Splash, etc. He doesn't have to reinvent the wheel out there, just vibe off the crowd and roll with it.

Sting vs HHH is certainly a match I'd never considered, and that's part of why I'm loving it so much.

Sting's still got it, having watched him in TNA until his very last match with Magnus in 2014, he's still pretty good and he had one hell of a hardhitting match with Bully Ray at Slammiversary 2014 - and obviously Triple H is still fantastic and capable of putting on a good match. I'm excited, although I'd like a bit more of the feud and at Fast Lane, we should see Sting speak. *squee*

IT'S MOTHERFUCKING STING!!!!!!!! omg I can't wait.

So much beer and BBQ chicken tomorrow for this show. In case you're wondering, I really like that Stubb's BBQ sauce, particularly the honey pecan flavor. That shit is sooo good. You know... in case you were wondering about my taste in BBQ sauces.
Still haven't ordered JR's stuff but it's gonna happen.

Thankful you're not in Texas? That education system really is as bad as I read about.

[put on glasses and assumes studious air]

That's not what was implied at all. The clear implication was that those of us who live in Texas were just as happy that you are not residing or hailing from the State as you are that you do not.
