Erm, simply a terribe PPV, but I'm from england and didn't have to pay for it and it was part of my current package. Had I brought it on BO, I would have been fuming.

As for best match, as much as I hate michaels, I really like Legacy and thought that was the best match in terms of technical ability, booking, pop, etc. As an all round match at a PPV, it was the only one I would have been satisfied with had I paid for it.

Orton v Cena 2nd.

Taker/ Punk, absolutely discusting to watch.

Cena/Orton wins it for me. DX/Legacy was good too and I though Shawn would get the sub. with that awesome corner post figure 4 and even though I was wrong, I still marked the fuck out when Rhodes put it on him.

Christian/ Regal was all sorts of awesomeness too!

Taker/Punk just overtook HHH/Orton from WM25 as worst, most disappointing main event of the year. One, they unreasonably buried the fuck out of Punk in 5 minutes, Two, the screwjob angle is still distasteful and has been done at least 10 times since 97, not to mention half of the E's target audience wasn't even alive when that happened. It sucked. Really, really sucked. Way to ruin a first time matchup with lousy booking.

DX vs Legacy was good times. All the "you screwed Bret" chants made it even better! :3dflagsdotcom_canad

Well, for me it's one of two choices.

  1. Firstly, It's Undertaker/Punk in the Screwjob edition 2. It was the end to a good PPV, and even tho the match didn't last a great deal, The end was really awesome. I marked when Taker won, and was really pissed off when Teddy came out and announced that the Hells gate had been indeed banned. It is setting up some really fantastic stuff on Smackdown in the neat future.
  2. Secondly, It's Cena and Orton. This match imo should have ended the feud. Even though it was a typical Cena match where he takes SOOOOOOO Much pain that it's beyond impossible for him to win, then all of a sudden .. wait, what's this? Cena wins!, It was a really good I Quit match and really shaped the Cena character.

Orton v Cena was by far the best match of the night... shame Orton quit within seconds of the STFU.... bad booking but it was better, miles better than the botched screwjob... Taker and Long were terrible.... sold it like amatuers
