He was mushy compared to 96-99 by he wasn't bad ass, he destroyed Blackman in his second return just 5 months after his first, he didn't wrestle a match (understandable) but the guy wasn't the same it kinda was like he lost his edge.

You can call my view on him bias since i hated the year 2000 in WWF and WCW and ECW.

I honestly did not watch until 98. I don't think I ever enjoyed WWE as much as I did the first two years while watching.

There's too many great years to pick just one. 1997-2001 (Attitude Era), 2003, 2005, etc. I might go with 1998. We got Austin vs McMahon, Taker vs Kane, the whole "Are Undertaker and Kane on the same side or not" storyline, the DX vs Nation feud, HHH vs Rock over the Intercontinental Title (which produced two great matches... a 2/3 falls match at Fully Loaded and a ladder match at Summerslam), the birth of Corporate Rock, Undertaker vs Mankind in the infamous HIAC match at KOTR '98, etc. So much greatness and the fact that the main event scene was pretty damn dry at the beginning of the year and yet they still managed to produce one of the strongest booked main events in history is even more impressive from a booking POV.

1996 or 2010

For me it's 2002 or 2004.
