What was the best main roster PLE of 2022?

I think if one is going to introduce someone to wrestling and give them a WWE show from this year, it's gotta be Clash At the Castle. It has the most bang for its buck, has debatebly one of the best brawling matches we've seen in a very long time in North America, and had a crowd that was hot and stayed hot the entire time. I can't think of any real negative to it (outside of the weird American Pie ending).

Both nights of Mania delivered more than I expected them to, but I’d have to say Clash and Summerslam were my favorites of the year with Clash just barely edging out Summerslam.

I will agree that the Rumble was fairly disappointing.

I feel like there was a lot of negativity in general about all the events up until WrestleMania.

There was the Day 1 shitshow buildup where the main event seemed to change every single week and resulted in the belt going back on Brock. Royal Rumble was absolutely awful, Brock loses the title, wins the Rumble and then wins the title back at Chamber.

People were definitely down on WrestleMania but there was a significant shift in momentum coming out of it because of how much it overdelivered.

I’d say WM was probably my favorite show cause it was actually really good lol. Over two nights I’d say there wasn’t a bad match. You had the return of Cody Rhodes and the fucking return of Stone Cold for crying out loud.

Other than that Clash at the Castle is definitely the shoutout. You had the MOTY of Sheamus and Gunther but every other match was VERY good. Just a really good wrestling show.

KO/Austin was great

Roman/Brock wasn’t terrible. But it was every Roman/Brock match you ever seen. You seen one of their matches since WrestleMania 34, you’ve seen them all.

WrestleMania wasn’t a bad show. Highlight to me was Austin and The Star coming out of the dust.

Becky/Bianca was great, Sami/Knoxville was dumb fun, Logan KILLED his part in the tag match too

Considering it’s Knoxville’s entire gimmick to get his ass kicked I don’t think it would’ve mattered in this case tbh but whatever lol
