I feel like the case has been handled pretty poorly this year and as though they never had a plan for it.
Putting it on Otis originally was short sighted given his character but there was the possibility of them using it on the tag titles but they squashed that with the Tucker turn which went absolutely nowhere for him.
Sticking it on Miz is understandable but I still don't see where it gets used. I'd say it's a fair assumption he's not walking into Mania with the either of the belts so there's very little time left for them to do something with it.
One thing I was thinking might happen was Drew retains at WrestleMania and finally gets his crowning moment with their being fans at the event and then Miz cashes in straight after, similar to what Seth did. I feel it gives Drew the crowning moment but it also gives them a big shocking moment on their premiere event with fans being back in attendance for the first time in forever.
Or you can just say screw it and have someone who you would consider the polar opposite to what NXT is about go and win that title and have a run there which could be super fun.
