What to do with Barrett

We’ve noted how Bad News Barrett is expected back in the ring soon. The latest word is that he should be back in action no later than early December.

But what exactly should he be doing? Face push in the midcard or continue his heel run in the midcard? If he was to continue his heel run, he could easily be placed with Swagger because of the antural storyline of Swagger taking him out and could use that old Rusev storyline of foreigner hating on 'Murica while poster boy of Aryan supremacy Swagger could show that raven haired Limey what it is to fucks with 'Murica.

I have a feeling the "Bad News" gimmick will lead to an eventual face turn. It's too over not to.

I say he returns to the midcard for a bit, feuding with Cesaro/Swagger etc before the push gets upped and he wins MITB

Not sure why they don't use him or even Cesaro as their designated heavy hitter to replace Kane.

Fuck it, use both, put them in suits and have them be their version of Creative Control.....anything other than US/IC title picture.

They could be great ways to get over a Reigns or Ambrose and make either one of them look strong enough to face Brock at Mania.

I love Barrett too much as a heel to beg for a face turn and I never thought too much about it... But I suppose he's now over enough that it could naturally happen.

I sort of assumed that he would go back to the IC Title scene because he promised "Bad News" for the title holder when he returns. But the question of whether he SHOULD stay in the mid card is an interesting one.

So the more I think about it, I think he's ready for a chance to move up the card. He's found the right gimmick and enough fans are behind him. He would be an interesting opponent for The Authority to throw into the mix but I'm skeptical how wise it is to throw him right in. I'd love to see a mid card feud with Cesaro or something to launch him first and get some fresh matches in the process.

I think if Sheamus is still the US champ when Barrett returns then they will probably think about doing a feud between them 2. Can see Cesaro becoming IC Champ so unless Barrett turns face can't see them feuding.

I think Barret was great where he was when he left, as the Authority's hitman. With Orton presumably face turning, and Kane's matches being snoozefests at this point, Barret would be a great asset to that faction.
