Been on an old Metallica kick again after the other day, found a dude who remixed a bunch of their songs and made them sound so much better, including my favorite song by them. It actually has bass, which is good cause Jason Newsted is underrated as hell.





Adding a different one too cause I just posted Blackened earlier.

He did some Slayer songs too. All these songs were recorded between 84-88 and do well with some touch ups. I'm getting interested in producing my own music and learning how to mix so this stuff is cool to me, just seeing how you can improve a song with tiny adjustments.

No. I have been listening to a lot of Volbeat while playing Red Dead 2 and this song reminded me of that quote by Val Kilmer, who portrays Doc Holiday, in the movie Tombstone.

Can't stay away from this dude's mixes. Cannibal Corpse always had a very muddy sound up until 1998 or so, but this classic song is crystal clear.

I typically hate pop music, but this I don't mind at all. Maybe partially it is because it is in the NHL 19 soundtrack, but I guess it is a nice upbeat song to add to my playlist.
