Personally I think this was a bad idea. EVOLVE was one of the few fresh breathing indy promotions and they had their own thing. I know most of the wrestlers wrestles for both promotions, but the merge will do better things for DGUSA than for EVOLVE if you ask me. It's sad that EVOLVE only managed to have 10 shows before it all ended :(

Don't have a problem with it. Smart from a budget standpoint, as having two companies using mostly the same guys, made little sense. I did like the Evolve concept though, so that kinda sucks.

^^ Yeah, I also loved the concept behind EVOLVE, it had potential, and that potential died with the merge I think

The merge is great, it'd give DGUSA some great wrestlers and a bit more free-load.

Has potential.

They will still be running seperate shows but from a business stand point they are the one company with a shared roster. I think that it is a good move, they already had a close working relationship but this just takes it one step further and will save them a bit of money.

Horrible idea because Dragon Gate: USA was built on spotfests while EVOLVE has been built on real competition(at least that is way they promote, like the early ROH shows when Honor was more prominent). They didn't need any more Flip Kendrick's mocking up the cards. Jesus Christ, EVOLVE was my favorite Indy promotion right now, I guess it's back to ROH.

I resent this remark. But they may only be because I'm good friends with the guy. My best friend from High School went to College with him. He's a good dude who knows all he can do is flips and aerial stuff and is OK with it.

Sorry, just not a big fan of spotfests and I don't think they fit EVOLVEs style. Too bad their style is going to be different now regardless.
