Ok, pretty simple question here and I'd like everyone to vote in the poll plz. I've been having talks with another poster at another forum about Kurt Angle and he shits on him given any opportunity. Says he just goes on there and puts on the same matches every time and resorts to crazy spots to get over with the fans and is just all around pretty much trash. I disagree with this and think he's still one of, if not the top talent in the world still. Guy can GO. Just watch the Lockdown match from last night against Anderson if you don't believe me. Anyways, just vote plz and give your thoughts if you feel like it.

Kurt Angle is awesome in the squared circle. He can do greco Roman, amateur, wwe style mma style. The guy is a wrestling freak. And one of a kind in the ring, he can make almost anyone looks good. And he has put on some of the most awesome matches ive seen in wrestling. But if he keeps going the way he is, he maybe wheelchair bound very soon. This man deserves his own wing in the hall of fame for sure. The way he sacrifices his body all of the damn time at his age and shape he is in is amazing. KURT ANGLE is Awesome.

Yeah, Kurt Angle is definitely one of the best wrestlers ever. He can mat wrestle brilliantly, brawl good, take/deliver bumps, and give good promos. He will for sure go into a hall of fame. He's the only person to main event Wrestlemania and Bound For Glory.

God that 'poster' is so fucking totally BKB! I swear he's the only other one I've seen say that stuff about Kurt. Oddly enough, I was just thinking about this earlier today. Thinking how couldn't you respect a guy like Kurt Angle? He's like a role model. You have guys like Cena, who sure, work hard and get their shit done. But just look at Kurt, how much shit he's been through, listen to some of his videos. The guy use to be, probably still is, CONSTANTLY in fucking excruciating pain and still went out there and busted his ass and you can tell he was hurting, but he gave it his all. He was popping like 50 FUCKING PAIN pills a day just to put on a show for the fans and didn't give a shit. Imagine what that was doing to his body. He's truly one of the people who has so much heart that he woulda died in the ring if it came to it (he almost did.. many times: see Kurt vs. Lesnar). He's amazing and he's in my top 5 favorite wrestlers of all time, right below Rock/Austin/HHH and he'll always be there because he's straight up the fucking man, can work a match like no other, and won a gold medal with BROKEN FREAKIN NECK! I'll always have a shitload of respect for him, possibly more than any other wrestler and I truly think it's time to take a fucking break already, a much deserved one. He's one of the few guys I would just really love to meet. He really needs some time off and then I think it's back to where he belongs and where he should be right now, the WWE. He's done all he can in TNA, really. Unless he wants to feud with Hardy or RVD, it's time to go.

PS: He needs to bring back his debut TNA music at least and start using the three I's again. I also hate "It's real, it's damn real", sigh.

The rest of my thoughts are in this thread: http://www.impactwrestling.com/forum/showthread.php?t=40589

I do honestly think that TNA may have folded before Kurt comes back.

I honestly think Kurt needs at least 6 months to a year off. I think by then TNA may have either folded or be way worse off than it is now.

Rofl, figures Straight_Edge76 would vote in the minority. I seriously would love to know what goes through his mind on a daily basis.

edit- then again, maybe not.

I voted for I don't really care for him anymore. Because simply I really don't. I mean yes he puts on good, to great matches and all but he isn't interesting to me anymore. Just another person putting on some good matches, but nothing like he was 5-6 years ago. But that is expected since all of his injuries are catching up to him. He is far from shit in the ring but he isn't who he was when he first came to TNA imo. I have not seen Lockdown so I cannot comment on his match with Anderson but I have heard good things.

I have never been a Kurt Angle fan, but I have to respect what he has done not only in pro wrestling but in the olympics as well. I mean sure the "Olympic Gold Medalist" shit is tired and boring imo but, not to many people can say that they have accomplished everything that he has.

Kurt's the fucking man. Imo, he's the best wrestler going right now. He plays a great heel as well as face. He can make anyone look good in the ring. Sure he's not having 5 star matches every night, but when it needs to be done, he delivers. As much as I don't want the feud between him and Anderson to be over, I'm glad he's taking time off. If anyone deserves it, it's Kurt. I hope it's not a small vacation either. At least 4 months would be good. Or in time for the Bound For Glory build up.

Kurt Angle is amazing. After a good 11 years in the business with pretty much the same gimmick, I cannot say that Angle is stale. Great heel as well as great face (which is a rarity in most guys today) The guy plays his All-American character to the tee and is one of if not THE best in ring performers in the biz now with HBK gone. I honestly long for a WWE return for him because I feel that that is where he belongs.

One of the best ever..period. The guy is a machine inside the ring, can talk his ass off on the mic and puts on consistently some of the best matches in the business. It also doesn't hurt that he legit comes across as a guy who could throw down and beat some serious ass.

The guy is definitely one of the greatest professional wrestlers in the past decade no doubt about that.

But if you ask me as of right now, I really don't care for him anymore.

Kurt Angle came into TNA with such momentum, had a great angle with Samoa Joe, great matches with AJ Styles and Jeff Jarrett, and managed to win the IWGP and TNA titles to his resume. However, over the past 2 or so years in TNA, I really have lost interest in Angle. He was looking bad at one point. He got really skinny, real pale, started growing his hair back, looked like he was going insane, but then again he was dealing with alot of problems. He did that stint with the Main Event Mafia which was a total bomb. They could have been the greatest stable ever, but TNA messed that one up. Sometimes I watch TNA lately and it is almost like Kurt Angle doesn't exist. Who knew Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair's arrival could push Angle so far aside. His program with Anderson has been an intense and passionate one, but for me anyways, since Anderson was involved I just totally didn't pay attention. However, I did watch it for the most part and still Kurt's role in TNA has really shrunk. TNA really depleted my interest in Angle.

When Angle was in WWE though, he was flawless, definitely one of my favorites. His matches and feuds were insane.

^^^^How can you and se76 say you do not care for him anymore? I just refuse to believe you both said that. I just do not get it.
