Eh, at least he has a gimmick and they haven't completely forgotten about him. I think this gimmick is pretty funny, and hopefully they'll find a way to incorporate it with him in ring. For now, he's pretty entertaining.

Exactly my point. And putting over Barrett so that Barrett could move on to a more important feud would be just like him. As much as I love Jericho, he's basically enhancement talent anymore.

As little a win over Jericho tends to mean nowadays it would be a huge leap up for Wade.

Kinda reminds me of the Fandango win over Jericho. People said it wouldn't do anything for his career since beating Jericho means nothing anymore, but for a little while you could buy the dude as a wrestler. In this case beating Jericho is the first step to proving Wade isn't a hopeless scrub after all

I don't mind the gimmick they're trying on him, but it's obvious that they don't know what else to do with him. The gimmick he's doing now doesn't seem like something that could transfer well to the ring. I'd like to see him in the ring again at some point since he'd do well in a midcard feud.

I would love this. It'd be the perfect opportunity for Jericho to make a surprise return to the WWE and defeating Jericho is definitely a step up from losing to The Miz on the pre-show.

Bad News Barrett could work if he was to face someone like Jericho at Wrestlemania, because he needs to be wrestling matches in order for anyone to keep giving 2 shits about him. If not Jericho, I don't see why they can't get Booker T to feud with Barrett because he interrupted Booker's spinaroonie on RAW.
