But the TNT title situation has been a mess since Wardlow won it and started feuding with Mark Sterling and his crew. Christian and Luchasauras are trying but it’s the level of the 24/7 Championship now

I would say TNT Title is pre-Gunther IC Title and the International Title is more on par with where Gunther has now elevated the IC Title too.

I don't think the International Title is honestly presented as being any more prestigious. Literally everyone gets a shot at it. The only thing that has it seeming more important is OC's reign being so noteworthy, while the TNT reigns of late have not had the same spotlight.

I believe a title with a broadcaster's name would inevitably lose value and perhaps prestige when another title, this time representing a larger area, is introduced.

It seems much cooler to rub in an opponent's face too.

I think the International title could have been meant to be this way from the start of it. The only reason it wasn't was because PAC was stuck in the UK, believe it was Visa issues at this point. It didn't really allow for it to be on live TV like Dynamite or PPVs. If I remember correctly the four way title match were four guys that most would agree are the upper midcarders for AEW (Miro, PAC, Malaki and legit can't remember the four at this point, believe it was a NJPW but yeah).
