Star Trek: Voyager
S3 E26: Scorpion Pt.1
S4 E01: Scorpion Pt.2
While Voyager was a complete waste of potential most
of the time the two part episode Scorpion showed how
good the show could be.
I mean its nowhere near as good as the epic Next Gen
two-part episode The Best of Both Worlds...but it truly
was as good as Voyager ever got.
Its a shame Species 8472 (The Undine) was never truly
expanded on as they were (to me) a unique threat that
seemed different to everything else Star Trek would
serve up on weekly basis.
Their appearance, the bio-ships, the "fluidic space" they
live in all seemed really creative...and they seemed like a
truly malevolent force as they were shown tearing through
Borg to the point where the Collective was filling their pants
in fear.
Still...Scorpion is great & well worth watch.
