To bring it all full circle, Paul Westerberg played Saturday Night Live 6 years after his band The Replacements were banned from ever being on the show, because they were drunk out of their minds. Guitarist Bob Stinson wore a dress for the second song. Lorne must have forgotten Paul was in that band. Friend/Manager of the band I worked for Darren Hill on bass (from Red Rockers who I just played) and acquaintance Josh Freese on drums. When the Replacements reformed for their ill fated reunion, Josh played drums. Darren is wearing his Red Rockers outfit that he wore in the video China for the 2nd song, "Can't Hardly Wait."
