A ladder match as the blowoff to a personal feud like the one between Angle and Anderson wouldn't have made any real sense. It was a blood feud, and none of them are ladder match specialists. Ladders really only work when it's for a title, and someone like RVD, Jeff etc are involved.

Back to the topic: Desmond Wolfe should have honestly been the heel that Flair endorsed and I think that AJ should have stayed a face. It would have been nice to see this and a Wolfe title feud in the process as well. Add Pope to that equation and you have feud worthy of drawing that has fresh talent headlining

Being that I'm in the minority of liking heel AJ, I think it would have actually been better to make Wolfe his protege rather than AJ... at the beginning. But thing is, if it was Wolfe, then he would have been the one acting like Flair. Which wouldn't have worked for him at all. Wolfe is doing great (aside from booking). He has the best in ring heel tactics and mannerisms on the roster imo. Turning him into Flair jr would have been career suicide.

With Wolfe, it's almost like they built him up so big, just to use him as a talent enhancement to get others over. They fucked him up big time though.

I think the best thing for both Desmond Wolfe and TNA would be to put him in a feud with Rob Terry for the Global Championship.

I think it would both gain credibility for Wolfe and Terry but also for the Global Championship.

Why would feuding with someone below Wolfe gain him some credibility? A long title reign may move him forwards slightly, but the initial feud with Terry would do him nothing and would just signal more backwards movement. It's a case of one step forward and two steps back.

Is Wolfe really below Terry in TNA though? Obviously he's more popular here, it's not close as to who the better wrestler is. But in TNA's reality, Rob Terry has won more matches in a month than Wolfe has in 4. They talk up Wolfe being this great wrestler, but in reality they've done shit to make him look credible. If he just looked competitive against Rob, it would be a step up to where he's been. I like the idea of him feuding with Rob and taking the title a lot. Of course, i'd rather Rob just go away for awhile and try to improve himself a little more, because he's still pretty much at square one in all aspects besides his look.

Wolfe was in the main event of Lockdown as a jobber to the stars. Terry wasn't on the card and hasn't beaten anyone or worth outside of Anderson who was KOed by Anderson before the match began.

TNA's biggest mistake with Desmond Wolfe is failing to have his entrance music be "Hungry Like the Wolf" by Duran Duran. Maybe when he turns face.

Hopefully with Angle and Dinero out we will see Wolfe get more time. I don't think he's in danger of loosing his establishment in TNA. He had a good feud with Dinero not to long ago and he's in a solid position. Right now he's just not building up anymore momentum. Now with a few guys away his push should resume.

LOL. He definitely has what it takes to be a great face, the crowd was really starting to dig him after his Angle feud.

Rob Terry came out and saved RVD and Jeff Hardy, beating up Sting, Beer Money, Wolfe and other people I'm forgetting. Now Terry is paired with Abyss, Jeff, RVD and shit. I think that puts Terry above him just in perspective.

Desmond Wolfe has gotten a world title shot and been in the main event many times... Rob Terry has not, EVER. I don't see how you could possibly think Rob Terry is ahead of him.
