I've never seen the original and for a guy who dearly loves Grease I should watch that way before I see this.

I just saw the movie and holy hell it was incredible. Fucking amazing acting, directing, choreography, music, and story. Definitely better than the original imo. They make changes to the script that fleshes out the characters much better than in the original. Also the casting is actually race appropriate. It may be my favorite film of the year, it was that good imo.
