I wouldn't mind seeing this, but I do not want Hogan being the one to end Flairs Career. Hogan's just looking for more glory so he can be the one to end Flair's career.

I'm gonna put this in caps for emphasis just in case Vince stumbles on here by accident. THE PERSON WHO RETIRES FLAIR SHOULD BE A MIDCARDER UNDER THE AGE OF 33. Its a pretty short list.

It shouldn't be Hogan, it shouldn't be Batista, it shouldn't even be HBK.

Every single word of the above is bang on the money!

In fact I'll repeat:

"THE PERSON WHO RETIRES FLAIR SHOULD BE A MIDCARDER UNDER THE AGE OF 33." ;o]

MVP & Kennedy are the ideal candidates, but prob is that they have already had to job to Flair to get this storyline over. They shouldn't have used them so early.... What about Venus, Snitsky and all the guys doing nothing.. Couldn't they have been fed to Flair for the purposes of Raw?

Hogan V Flair @ Mania.... If it's gonna happen they should do it as a one off 'out of retirement' match @ WM25 (or WM30 but obviously that would be w-a-y too late).

Hogan's so fuckin' transparent.

To quote CM54 again: Hogan's just looking for more glory so he can be the one to end Flair's career.

^Val Venis and Snitsky should not be appearing on any PPV's ever and they definitely shouldn't have the oppurtunity to retire Flair, even though we know they wouldn't win. Also Val Venis was hurt for a while. That's not the point though, the point is for this storyline to be good they want Flair to rise to the occasion and prove that although he may be old when it's on the line Flair steps up and gets the job done anyway he can. Putting him up against glorified jobbers wouldn't really be that big of a deal.

Hogan will end his own career TDK.

I think Hulk Hogan can still put on a good match, if both of them put 100% effort then a short but good match can be there in the midcard; I mean it's WrestleMania and Hulk Hogan vs. Ric Flair sounds 'REAL' BIG. They can put on a decent match and Vince should consider this idea of Hogan.. However, it should be a short match. They must not drag the match because both of them are old bastards..

OK, bad examples, but I think my point is still valid. They only had to decide who get's this uber push, throw anyone else credible at him and save that match til mania.... They've only effectively run out of credible 'jobbers' for Flair with Kennedy @ NWO.

The more i think about this, the more I'm convinved MVP should be getting that honour.... Their promos and mic work together were awesome, their characters have so many similarities and MVP really needs something more to get his gimmick over. I mean Vince (kayfaybe) spent all that money signing him just to get a mid-card champ?

I just think that a Flair v HBK (or similar vs. Friend angel) is just pointless apart from him being the kind of performer that can compensate for their opponents shortcomings (in this case Flairs mobility and fitness)....

If Flairs gotta receive some love n' respect from someone, why not have HBK, HHH & Batista come out right after the end of the match and save Flair from a further beatdown from whoever the match-winner (whom would just be further hammering home the point that they've just retired the greatest of all time), then have them parade him about the ring on their shoulders for a bit.

I dunno.... :sighs: Maybe Hogan was the plan all along?
