So I've just completed my first episode of Impact Wrestling.
I'm assuming it's the April 20 episode, as it was when Karen Jarett announced the merger with GFW (which I only watched 5 mins of on YouTube once) and I have to say....
I honestly do not mind this show whatsoever.
Now I'm not sure if their television shows are meant to look a few years dated or if it was just the station it broadcasted on, but I like it. I love it.
The trashy characters. Like.
Edgy content such as that bride chick looking like a drunk dirty whore, and that James storm drinking beer. Like.
X Division. Like. And a guy with the name suicide. What? Like! You'd never see that on wwe anymore.
The way they portray things just feels so refreshing. And is almost a throwback to how wwe used to feel. It's great. They seem to be at a level that requires them to be risqué, yet keep it somewhat professional.
Overall I like this show and honestly considering replacing wwe.
While wwe is amazing in itself, it's legacy speaks for itself as well, Impact feels refreshing to me. And I'm a fan for the time being. We'll see where things go from here.
