Vince's reaction to Extreme Rules Match

I got this from PWinsider Elite...

*Vince McMahon loved the ECW 8 Man Extreme Rules match and gave the competitors a standing ovation after the bout. Dean Malenko and Dusty Rhodes were heavily involved with the planning and execution of the match. It should be interesting to see, given the way the crowd reacted, whether the match will leave WWE more open to doing more "old school ECW" style direction and matches with the ECW brand or whether this was a rare occurrence, given those who politically have been against the ECW brand being anything but a third pure WWE sports-entertainment style company.

He actually liked it!!! And an update on Elijah Burke and Holly. Burke is fine, he didn't blow out his knee, he just did a great job of selling the injury, and the Holly didn't suffer a broken arm, he's been needing surgery (on the elbow I think) and the broken arm angle was used.

When isn't holly injuried. I think we need an Official Hardcore Holly Injury Report thread. Whats ailing him, how long he's going to be out. Predicting how many matches before he's injuried again. Its time to hang it up, im sorry.

But in all seriousness, prehaps we should have a injury report thread. With guys status, and things like that.

they all did a great job with that match. I'm praying they do more oldschool ecw stuff, it was great to see that stuff again. i wonder if at one night stand it will be all ecw rules or normal matches

That would be amazing to have all extreme rulz matches at One Night Stand. Especially to have those types of matches regularly on ECW. E-C-Dub!

Has Vince losing his hair giving him some sort of personality transplant he actually liked an extreme rules match. Maybe he should have lost the hair along time ago and wwe might actually live up to peoples standards

Hey look at it this way if he sees Dusty & ECW's creative team do this good maybe he can finally add a new singles title....cause we all would love to see the TV title get resurrected

Nope, thats just you :) I don't want anymore singles titles. There are too many!!! Especially when everyone apears on every show again, the brands are becoming non existant.

Pussy Monster is the home debater and may choose which side he wants first. He has 24 hours to choose, or it becomes a free for all.

Debaters you have till Sunday at Midnight to debate the following topic, good luck:

With all of the success by CM Punk, should WWE get more guys from the independent scene or mainly bring up guys that got brought up through FCW?

Looks like I get to pick the side so I'll just go here:

WWE should stick with bringing up guys from FCW, that's not to say there's not success with bringing up guys through the indy scene, but FCW is the better option for multiple reasons. Punk is something special, not all guys out there wrestling on the indies have the full skill set that he does. He can work in the ring at a top level, which a lot of indy guys can do, but his mic work is something you not going to find as a regular thing. So, basically signing top indy talent and bringing them up right away isn't always going to pay off.

Giving a star a chance to grow in FCW is the best step, they can hand pick the look that they want, and then play around with the gimmick and continue to work on both the in ring and mic aspect of the future superstar. Also in WWE isn't relatively easy to push a new talent if they want, they put them in a major angle and if they've done a good job of developing a interesting character with a decent enough skill set there going to get over.

So basically over the years your going to see more stars made through development and less diamonds in the roughs like Punk brought up.
