Well we did pick up McCabe from Rangers who seems to be a very talented lad but very raw at the same time. No idea why we paid Newco however, considering he refused to transfer his contract to them but still.

How much did you pay them? Thieving bastards :tough: And yeah, seem to recall hearing good things about him although I may be mixing him up with another young guy they had last year, is he a winger?

Nope he's been playing in the center with us anyway, no idea how much tbh just now we've settled a fee. McCabe was the one who dominated the derby with Celtic, at least that's what Rangers fans were saying.

Looking forward to tomorrow Seabs?

Well I finish work at least half an hour earlier then planned (flexitime ftw) so that's good as for the match, of course it's a derby after all. Expecting a bad result sadly but a great atmosphere.

I'm sure there will be a fantastic atmosphere, and hopefully a good game. I'll be watching on Sky. :boss1:

Leeds are a horrible lot, a fan runs on the pitch and blindsights Kirkland and pushes him in the face before running off, seriously what is the fucking point?

I heard about that. Was Kirkland hurt at all or was it just the usual fan runs on pitch for attention kinda thing? Oh and what was the final score since that seems to be getting totally overlooked by everyone?

1-1, Leeds scored and around 10 of their fans ran on the pitch and start celebrating. They went off but another ran on and pushed him in the face, he didn't look hurt as he moved around pretty well after and just seemed more shocked ( can't blame him tbh, having to keep his back turned to a group after one had just hit him lightly or not is a fucking disgrace and still focus on the game) Leeds were very Revyish (probably spelt wrong but that prick from the 70s and 80s) constantly harassing the ref after every decision, Diouf was well Diouf with his constant tripping over thin air and Becchio is a disgrace after that handball (didn't notice it at first since I was a fair distance away but seen some videos since I got back, just a disgrace)

It's a shame that the guy will get so much publicity for doing such a pathetic thing, the players' effort on the pitch will be completely overshadowed because of some guy being an arse.

I cannot fucking stand that wee rat Diouf. Absolutely disgusting human being and that probably tells you all you need to know about Leeds(by the sound of things anyway).

I don't mind him getting publicity as long as he's met with some kind of charge, banning him from all games won't do shit IMO. There are still ways for him to get in, just put him on a tag so he can't go near Elland Road or any Leeds game away, if he does give him a fine then a custodial if he breaks it again. These people get away with too much, that's why people still do it.

Agreed, could he not get a short jail sentence for assault though? That would also do nicely.

Technically it was an assault but him getting charged with anything above battery would be impossible I believe (not enough force in the action) although and I think the maximum sentence imposable is a fine, could be a slight sentence of around 6 months actually cba to read up (he'd probably be out in 1 for good behavior however anyway). A prison sentence would be good, sending out a strong message but I doubt it would be worth the trouble required to gain the sentence, throwing him off a cliff is probably cheaper (ideally with Diouf and Lee Hughes but that's a whole other matter )
