Rumor and innuendo says thats Fox wants to air NXT on Wednesday's. AEW is going to have their shows live on Wednesday. I think this would be a lot of fun, both shows head to head same night.
Yeah...pretty much.Yes and all the WWE fanboys who have said NXT is overrated will suddenly love the show simply because it's facing AEW.

I can almost see you face palming as I read that.God, not another "War" thread/story.
Think WWE knows counterprogramming AEW is great advertising for them? It got people amped for an Evolve show lol
Reminds me of the 2015 Wednesday Night War though. Impact, ROH, Lucha Underground and NXT. It was just cool and nothing "significant"
Pretty much. I have seen so many of these to the point of annoyance. It is like everyone wants to live in the past and not move forward.I can almost see you face palming as I read that.
Why can't I give this post 1,000 Appalauses? It deserves it.Exactly. During the Monday Night War, you had to use your VCR to record the other show and although that isn't difficult to do, it wasn't something many people did.
Even so, AEW is taking the high road by avoiding direct competition. I recall during the Monday Night Wars, that was Mcahon's biggest problem. He complained over and over again about splitting the audience.
So, we get AEW. They hold PPVS on Saturday and are looking to put a show on that directly does not conflict with any WWE programming. So what do we get, we get Vince deciding to try and put something opposite them to hurt their ratings.
Nothing in this world I hate more than a hypocrite. This is like when TNA tried to use the Attitude Era philosophy to compete with WWE and Vince called it "tawdry." In Vince's mind, it is always right if he does it and always wrong if anyone else does.

You're welcome, amigo.Thank you :emoji_slight_smile:
The coolest thing was in Australia the Pay TV service we had aired RAW on Tuesday nightExactly. During the Monday Night War, you had to use your VCR to record the other show and although that isn't difficult to do, it wasn't something many people did.
Its because the AEW has a "fresh, new, exciting" vibe to it & its scaring the WWE becauseEven so, AEW is taking the high road by avoiding direct competition. I recall during the Monday Night Wars, that was Mcahon's biggest problem. He complained over and over again about splitting the audience.
