I think that Punk is a worthy challenger, nowhere near the level that HBK and HHH were obviously but still one of the biggest current names. I agree that Cena should be his challenger at WM30 and that should be his last match, he is the only person that could conceivably beat Taker.

Punk is a step down, and not just from HHH and HBK but from Edge and Dave too. Punk is probably the weakest challenger Taker would see in the past 6-7 years and there's no one thinking he could end the streak. Hell you could add the shield to him and I ain't buying that credibility

i think they could easily write in Taker v Brock with the board ruling HHH can't fight though. I mean he's beaten Trips, broken Michaels, so who better to turn to than the guy who doesn't lose at Mania and was standing ina hug with them last year?

There aren't that many options though other than Cena, Rock and Brock. After those three Punk is clearly the best choice. If they don't decide to do Brock vs. HHH again and if Taker is fit then it would be a great match-up but I just can't see it happening.

As you'd expect I'm with Saiyans on this.

Won't be Cena or Rock this year obvs, but theres a host of names with nothing going on at the moment. All of them would be steps down from previous years but Punk the biggest letdown of all. It's not even because he's a midget or comes from the indies, it's because its a boring matchup thats been done before and even more predictable at a Mania.

Much prefer Sheamus/Lesnar/Del Rio/Ryback, or if Punk is the only option he should refuse to work and do the big one next year.

Brock/Sheamus or Orton rematch from WM 21 for his final WM match.

If I'm being completely honest though, I have zilch interest in ever seeing Taker again, nada. The guy is beyond stale and has been so for ages. It's not an assault on his integrity or an issue of me not respecting the guy, I just don't care.

Even though we all know that The Streak will not end, you still want that huge star to give it everything they've got. Shawn Michaels twice and Triple H twice in the past four years presented the smallest chance that the streak was going to end. CM Punk does not. Not only that, I'm not 100% sure Taker will be able to do some of the things and take the bumps that he's taken in previous years. If he reallys wants one more final match, take the year off, get healthy and come back for Cena in 2014

After HBK and HHH have couldn't end the streak I am damn sure nobody can end this streak. Nobody. HHH and HBK are the two guys for me that when they ask something from WWE they would accept but because of the respect to Taker, all he had done for WWE, his loyalty to WWE they won't end it and it shouldn't end. I just want good streak scenario and good match so Punk is ok for me. But if I have to choose between Cena and Punk, Cena for sure at WM30. Streak vs Motto, Submission match.

Streak vs Motto?

If Cena loses he can't use his shitty You Can't See Me catchphrase anymore?

You know I remember everyone saying Taker is in good shape and now he's all broken and hurt load of crap if you ask me Taker's fine and I'm sure he will be there for Wrestlemania and I remember he's appearance at Raw 1000 he was fine other then the fact he was struggling to get the hood off but everyone sometimes has a hard time taking something off.

Punk vs. Taker would be cool to see, as I don't think anyone else on the current roster could really put on a good story with him. The only other person I could see is maybe Orton, and I wouldn't be totally against that because they have an amazing past together, but Orton is like...barely a dot on the map right now, and would have to regain a lot of star power if they wanted to pull him off as a threat. Punk is already there to a certain point, and Cena is far past that.

I agree with the idea that he should just take this off, and come back strong next year to take on Cena at the huge WrestleMania 30. Would be the best option.

I don't agree with you about Orton. In my eyes, he's like Kane or The Big Show that it wouldn't take much to make him look like a main eventer again. I think they could put on another good match as I really enjoyed the one they had in 2005. That was the start of 8 straight great matches that Undertaker had at WrestleMania.

Either way, I think most would agree that if Undertaker isn't ready to go, then he should sit this one out and come back next year.

I think Orton could get the star power back, but they'd have to start working him now. Right now he's just basically losing to Mid Card champs on a weekly basis. He's like...just there. Has no purpose really. They could pull it off though. Do the whole "I'm not a kid anymore." angle with it. I think it would actually have a better story then Punk/Taker.
