Undertaker will go out with a storyline unlike anyone else before him, you will know it when it happens. His entire character is based on mystique and imagination, intimidation and darkness and supernatural presence, all that yammer jammer. Hes not just going to lose at Mania and be done, or win at Mania against a big name, walk up the ramp, hug them and leave. He is going to go out like a King. Like no one ever before him. To repeat myself, youll know it when it happens

I think in the end, it's really about the circumstances around a wrestler's leaving the promotion and the business. It's rare you see someone really go out with much fanfare, especially amongst the more legendary figures. Hogan really didn't have a big send off angle. Steve Austin's send off was really quite low key. The Rock very nearly left the business entirely without much mention. While I think that unlike a lot of wrestlers, when Taker says he's done, he's really done. But it's the circumstances that may be the wildcard. His body may be so far gone that he just doesn't have any matches left in him when he decides that's it. He may have his contract run out, or the WWE may decide they'd rather just concentrate on those who are the future of the promotion. It may even be something Taker turns down thinking sometimes the best way is to just go out with a loss, put someone over or fade away like so many other legends of the past.

He could be sitting at home ten months after his prior wrestlemania match and think he's done and has no real reason to come back short of a nice speech at a Hall of Fame show.

I have a feeling, with regards to whether the WWE creative team have it in them to provide a storyline bringing a close to Takers career, that he will have complete creative control for it and, not only that, that the final storyline has been mapped out for a number of years now.

Difference between Austin/Rock and Taker is that Taker has been more of a WWF/WWE Constant then Rock and Austin combined. Taker has been around for 22 years, Austin was only active for about 6 in WWE, and Rock has only been active (altogether) for about... 8. Austin decided to take his ball and leave a couple times, Rock left for hollywood. It came to a point where neither of those guys could probably care if they got the send off. In my view, as much as they achieved, they cant compare to the work and dedication that Taker has put in. Put aside the money and popularity, when Austin and Rock left - new cashcows were bred and they were still making money off these two.

When Taker is done - there will never be another. This will be capitalized if Vince McMahon has even a shred of the business sense that he once possessed as a wrestling promoter.

While Austin and Rock may have been more successful and drawing than The Undertaker, the fact in my eyes is that Taker has been a general on stage and backstage for longer than Rock or Austin even wrestled for the company. He may very well go out by losing and fading out, but it wont happen out of the blue or quietly on a low key level. It will be noted and if WWE was smart about it, they would know that for as long as he has been active and as much as the fans respect him, albeit maybe even some who are tired of him, they will know that its a definitive end to probably one of the most enigmatic and unbelievable personas of WWE. When Taker goes down, a part of the company will go with him. This is why I think they will build up something for him, and I would hope they had the sense enough to make sure its worthy of an exit.

WWE will definitely come up with something good for Undertaker's final run. They aren't going to let down a guy that has basically been a maineventer for the past 20 years, that has been a company man the whole time and has delivered for them time and time again. He is going to get an awesome send off and he certainly deserves it

Underaker's retirement won't be very kayfabey imo. Cena's Shorts nailed it earlier, the current bookers aren't up to anything close to Attitude Era-esque writing. His departure will be extravegant as hell and we'll know it when it happens, he deserves it, but don't expect any of this "Taker disappears in the ring with Kane at Wrestlemania" bullshit.

Undertaker doesn't have an ego to go out of his way and expect a big sendoff. He is kayfabe til he dies.

I expect a loss from him and he just walks away, which would be better suited for him as a character and a person, because thats the type of person he is.

I expect more of the way he left after his TLC match with Edge a few years ago, he got up walked to the top of the ramp and just gave a tired and almost sad look before he raised one arm and that was it.

Way better fitting then druids and lightning imo. He doesn't need hokey shit, he just needs to leave with dignity.

Who could actually put on a better match than Undertaker has this past 3 years.

I want to see him face CM Punk this year and Cena next year. Winning both.

I will accept Cena winning if he does it very cheaply and it's a heel turn.

Takers retirement needs to be big. After WM 30 win or lose he can't get up from the ring and have the druids and everything to do it And then maybe a speech from parts unknown

I would like to see a Shawn Michaels like retirement for Taker. Kinda dedicate the show to him. Show some of his best clips and then give him the main event spot to do his entrance one more time. He could simply do his Dark Prayer in the middle of the ring while all the superstars stand on the stage for him. He doesn't need to say anything. Simple, fits his character, yet is still a proper send off.

Wrestling being what it is, and especially the way the WWE moves, I think a fitting end would be one last good match. Maybe Taker will know when that match will be and there's an angle done around it, ie a retirement stipulation or simply just his saying this match is his swan song. Wrestlers being who they are, it's hard for a wrestler to say so short of having a career ending condition like Edge suffered. The last couple years, the product has moved on without Taker. He's still a big Wrestlemania attraction, but wrestling and the WWE has moved on.

If Taker continues to do matches without being certain if this is his last, he could very wait six months after Mania, try training and decide his body doesn't have another match in it. Fans might like to see that big farewell show, and with RAW being 3 hours, they could probably use any sort of programming ideas.

But Taker has long been one of those private guys that doesn't speak as himself on camera very often. Even when he did the American Bad Ass gimmick that let him speak a lot more freely, that was still very worked.

I could very well see a guy that doesn't mark out for himself coming to a decision a few months after his last match and saying he's done and wants his departure to be quiet. The Undertaker had his time, and when he decides he wants to do the match, he gets the limelight he deserves. But to do a Flair like exit after his last match, I just can't see him doing it without Vince and Trips pestering him. When you're done, it's time for others to shine.

F4Wonline.com reports that as of Saturday, there is still no word on whether or not The Undertaker will work WrestleMania 29. It’s said that Taker keeps changing his mind.

There is also no replacement match in the works for CM Punk yet. Besides all the talk, we should know something more solid on the weekend of WWE’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.

I want to see him at Mania as he is the Mr. Wrestlemania in my opinion, no disrespect but not Shawn Michaels. When I hear Wrestlemania, I directly think about the Undertaker and in last 4 years he had the best matches in each and every single Wrestlemania. Also if he wrestles it will be against CM Punk as it say in news but not all rumors happened as we all know. But Punk vs Taker at Mania is a dream match for me even if it's happened before. CM Punk is a huge main eventer now and a match against Undertaker will be great. All that build up and match excites me even now but the question is will The Undertaker be ready? As we all know he wrestles once a year but these matches are great for sure. If he can't wrestle this year, Punk can be in Rock vs Cena match as third contestant.

If he only has one year left then Undertaker should sit out this year and save himself for the big one at WM30. This year already has The Rock and Brock Lesnar on the show so it is going to do well whether he is there or not. I don't see the point in him working injured this year as WWE aren't desperate like they were in the past where they really needed him on the show in order for it to be a runaway success. As for CM Punk it is easy, just get him involved in the WWE title match at WM and make it a triple threat.

To be blunt, Punk ain't worth his time as a streak challenger. Hell rewrite the story with Brock to the point the board wont says HHH can't wrestle him and has to select a replacement, it being Taker.

Hope he does go for 30 with Cena though. It's the perfect place the super dome, home of voo doo, an ill be there with bells on
