We Have a New NXT Champion

Yesterday during WWE's "Live from Tokyo" special, Finn Balor defeated Kevin Owens to become the new NXT champion. I guess this means Owens is now gonna be on the main roster permanently. Thoughts?

Hopefully Owens is immediately leaving NXT, because man has their roster taken a beating these last few months. Owens & Neville being promoted to the main roster, Sami & Hideo going down to injuries, Balor is the last man standing (which I hate to play devils advocate, but it's probably why he was the one to win it).

On the plus side, massive chance for the rest of the NXT crew to step up to the main event on NXT.

I'm a little disappointed that Finn Balor won the NXT Championship from Kevin Owens. I was wanting to see Sami Zayn beat Kevin Owens for the championship after resorting to some mega aggression.

It will be interesting to see if Finn gets to hold the belt a while. I don't see any other contender who can take the belt off of him. Owens was the top heel on NXT.

I pretty much agree with everyone else, that Owens will be making the trip to the main roster permanently. I guess we may see Owens taking the United States title off of Cena very soon.

Happy Finn won it, and will be happier when Owens takes the US Title off Cena.

Very late on this but I have only recently got around to seeing Beast in the East.

As someone who was a Prince Devitt fan and is now a Finn Balor fan I am very happy with this. This match was by far his best in WWE so far and it was amazing to see the crowd behind him. I hope it means Owens can move up to the main roster and Balor can kill it as champ.
