Was like 2009-2010 whenever they dropped it for the anonymous GM, before that was the million dollar Mania and Donald Trump owning Raw gimmicks in 2008. They were absolutely grasping and in desperation mode.

Guest hosts overall def sucked but they gave us a few classic moments at least lol

My favorite piece of trivia about this is that Vince didn't tell fuckin anyone that it was a work and treated it as if Trump really did buy WWE, and the company stock crashed so hard he had to come out and admit it was a work.

Anyone who lived through the WWF in 1995 can tell you unequivocally that this is NOT the lowest point in the promotion's history and any attempt to suggest so is just dishonesty. Even if you don't like what they are doing, you have to admit that they are growing to points they haven't seen in 15-20 years.

I do think the early Covid era in 2020 before Roman returned was pretty rough. The empty arena didn’t help either.
