WCW and TNA's Daffney has Passed Away

Whilst I never saw Daffney perform, I still know of her within the wrestling world.

Nevertheless, this is tragic news.
I saw a tweet earlier from Jay of OSW Review, mention that she did a live video basically saying who will be the owners of her possessions.
Just gone back onto Twitter and seen the news.

I'd say she was easily one of the best parts of WCW 2000, I'm sure at the time it wasn't as liked as it became to be in hindsight but her, David Flair, and Crowbar were such a great pairing and I'm glad they got appreciated more once the "WCW 2000 bad" wore off and the actual good from the time could be talked about

First I saw was in TNA tho and I loved her but she had a very sad run there towards the end, real shame how everything turned out.

I do hope that there's some chance her brain helps the science on this for others suffering in the future, especially if she legitimately had CTE

Oh for sure, she truly was one of my favorite parts of the end of WCW. She just did such a great job and I loved it.

I'm heartbroken to hear the news about her death. I've watched her wrestle in WCW around 1999 when she managed David Flair and Crowbar. She was truly entertaining, unique woman. I will miss that scream of hers. She'll be forever "The Scream Queen."

Horrible news as always when we lose someone too young. I wish she was able to receive the help she needed. I only ever saw her TNA work where she was The Governor in that Beautiful People storyline and then became Daffney after she went crazy. I thought she was super talented in that storyline. Such a shame. And like everyone else said, please seek help if you’re struggling. Even in your worst moments there’s a light at the end of the tunnel.

As someone who also suffers from mental health from time to time this hit quite hard. Such tragic news for someone that young, with still so much to give. She was always a very solid talent who did her best with often not very good material. Great personality too. RIP. My thoughts are with her friends and family.

I have to say that I am hope Jamie Senegal is doing well. Daffney was pretty much her mom and mentor, and taught her how to wrestle, helped her get her foot into the door of the business, and told her she will be alright coming out as a transwoman.
