Judging by the financial failure that came from it yes.

Also Nash > Big E

HBK > Ziggler in credability at their relative stages by a long way.

The Nash/HBK pairing was great. Nash's failure as champion was down to a lot more than just him being a failure.

:notsure: if srs, Diesel bombed as Champion from a financial standpoint ( I don't care about any other factors it bombed, you can't deny as a champion he didn't draw as a champion should) the financial aspect was the point I made.

Yeah, he didn't draw because the product as a whole in the year 1995 was terrible. It's not as simple as giving someone the title and then telling them to go out there and draw people to the arena, regardless of how they're booked. The show as a whole sucked, and some of his only opponents were people like Tatanka and Mabel. Not to mention they cut him off at the legs by turning him from a bad ass baby face into a smiley baby face. (We all know how well that works for a guy;s momentum.)

More to the point though, I don't see why Diesel bombing as world champion can be tied into saying his role as a bodyguard for Michaels was bad.

they tried having Mason Ryan as Dolph Zigglers heavy at a few house shows

obviously they thought Big E was a better choice :silva:

Just because one particular bodyguard angle worked in 1994 doesn't mean another completely different angle will work now.

Yeah I saw that. Wasn't really great either.

But no, after watching Big E on NXT I don't really think his debut was great. Not really a fan of so many people around Ziggler and Big E has been quite boring so far.
