Back in July 2011, Zack Ryder wrestled at several WWE live events as the “Ultimate Broski.†Ryder parodied Ultimate Warrior character, using Warrior’s facepaint, ring gear and mannerisms.

Earlier this week, Zack Ryder wrote the following message on Twitter:

“Z! TLIS action figures coming soon. Here’s a preview.â€

Ultimate Warrior, who is very protective of his intellectual property, replied to him:

“Having fun with MY UW marks is one thing, violating my TM rights is another. Don’t think so…someone needs to rethinkâ€

On Wednesday, Ryder followed up with this message – assuring Warrior he has no need to call his lawyer:

“To clear up any confusion, the Z! TLIS action figures are custom made. They will not be mass produced or for sale anywhere…â€

Warrior had every right to say that if he thought they would be mass produced, Ryder' cheap rip off of Warrior is crappy and incredibly stupid. Ryder is a goofball who overacts, oversells and can't wrestle.

Warrior was jumping the gun, just like he always does. I mean really is that a comment to share over twitter no that's something that should have been done with a phone or an email.

You sure got a strong opinion on this Hatred. I like how it's not based off dislike or anything.

Seriously don't care Warrior tries to get attention any chance he can get these days.

I'm not a fan of Ryder. He annoys me.

He is too corny, he overacts, he oversells nearly everything he does and his wrestling isn't that good.

Warrior may be a loose cannon (I don't think he's anywhere near as bad as people on the internet make out) but I don't he did anything wrong here, unless looking out for your best interests is one of them?

That's cool and all just pretty damn random to blurt that out when this is about an action figure was my point.

I just don't think twitter was the most appropriate way to go about it a phone call first would have been more polite.

Think Ryder handle it pretty good.

WWE make nearly all their superstars take social media training.

The Miz @mikethemiz
Had social media training today and they said I need a new avatar what photo should I use or any artists out there. #MizAvatar

To be fair, the Ultimate Broski concept is fucking awesome.

They make them take training, but as we've seen that doesn't mean anything. As several superstars start fights bicker at fans etc (see Goldust) on twitter so their training takes nothing away from his response. That's like me saying so and so is a good wrestler and you saying "no he's not he's been trained"

Maybe a direct message to Ryder himself would have been for the best, but given Ryder has already done this gimmick at a house show (i've seen the pics and possibly video) I think they're kind of past the stage of asking before taking action, not to mention Warriors tweet wasn't overly aggressive more of a stern warning.

Fair enough it wasn't an over the top I'll beat your ass deal.

Didn't realize he'd done it at a house show sure he could rework it though as Warrior isn't the only one to have used similar makeup. Legion of Broski tie in to sting. Even Ultimate Broski with stings makeup instead.

Don't really see how him using this type of deal is going to take away from money warrior could be making.

Warrior didn't freak out about it or anything so I don't think he handled it wrong exactly esp if at first he thought Ryder was gonna be making money off of him. But in a way he should also feel a bit honored as it's in a way a homage type thing.
