No.

It's VIP....yes, I know it's just the net and it's just a forum but people should still do something to deserve it.

Just about every member right now who is VIP is a well known member for whatever reason. Do you think anyone will remember fuzzy? You have 89 posts so far and people will probably still say 'who?' whenever your username is mentioned. Pumpt isn't VIP (as far as I know) but he is still a better known member than you from back when he had like 10 posts. He came in here and immediately started intelligent discussion and proved he was a good, new addition to the forum. You haven't made any sort of impact, imo.

Does it seem right to you to be here for less than a month, have 8 posts and get VIP? Hell, no, you're crazy if you do. Who knows if you will even be here in a year or two.

VIP should be for people who have been here for a long time and have kept the forum alive, not some guy who has less than 100 posts, been here less than a month, hasn't done much to 'pop' out in people's minds, and creates a thread thinking he is VIP material.

If you are still here in a year and have made great posts and become someone whom everyone will know pretty well, sure, but until then, if I were in charge of handing out VIP, I wouldn't even think twice about giving it to you, especially after asking for it and not doing anything to earn it.

To be fair, I feel a little bad still being a VIP having disappeared for quite a fair while. However, I was pretty active when I was given the VIP status. Hopefully I will be relatively active again now!

I've already agreed with you on that point, you don't have to keep hammering that nail, it's already nailed.

Well i'm sorry you feel that way, and not to take away from the well known members you speak of, but not everyone contributes the same way nor do they do it your way, whatever that may be. If you feel I haven't contributed or made any sort of impact, then that's your opinion.

Does it seem right to you to be here for less than a month, have 8 posts and get VIP? Hell, no, you're crazy if you do. Who knows if you will even be here in a year or two.
If you read my very first post in this thread, you would see that, I never demanded or said I should be vip, I simply asked a question as to how. and I asked because I was new to the fourm, I came from another fourm with an invite to join this fourm. (How do you know that other members will be here in a year or two?) calm yourself my friend, members will come and go, most will stay and some might not stay. I WAS A MEMEBER OF THAT OTHER FOURM WHICH I STILL AM YET NOT AS ACTIVE THERE AS I AM HERE BUT NONETHELESS i've been member there for over a year.

VIP should be for people who have been here for a long time and have kept the forum alive, not some guy who has less than 100 posts, been here less than a month, hasn't done much to 'pop' out in people's minds, and creates a thread thinking he is VIP material.
Again you're retlling what you have already told at the top of your post. So please do tell, what is it that you want me to do that will "POP OUT" because it seems to me, that new members or guests that want to join this fourm, have to first read YOUR "how to" guide, in order to be able to join groups,, ect ect... forgive me if I don't run out and preorder a copy.

If you are still here in a year and have made great posts and become someone whom everyone will know pretty well, sure, but until then, if I were in charge of handing out VIP, I wouldn't even think twice about giving it to you, especially after asking for it and not doing anything to earn it.
Let ask you a question, do you join a fourm so people will know who you are for whatever reasons you may want them to, or do you join because you want have a bit of fun while talking with these people of whom you may have the same interest with?

I join a forum to discuss something I enjoy. I don't come here to get a VIP membership. It feels good that the person who gave it to me felt that I was worthy enough to have one but it isn't a huge deal. I have been here for a long time and contribute as much as I can. I didn't ask for it the first week I was here. I think I got it like a year ago.

Anyone who joins a forum just to be VIP is a smurf. I didn't even know there was VIP here when I joined. You, on the other hand, seem to take it seriously. You remind me of John. He wants so badly to be a mod so he begs for it and then tries to make a bunch of threads thinking he will get it, yet none of his posts are even that great, he just thinks quantity means something. Quality, not quantity.

I don't think ANYONE who has VIP here joined just to get it or intentionally did what they could to get it. They stuck around and contributed to the forum like a good member should.

I also think that my opinion is probably shared by many people here. You just got here and already requested VIP, as well as requested to be in my group. Relax and prove you are a good member. Also, what the fuck is thsi shit about new members having to follow MY guide to VIP? Grow up, man, I never said this is what the guide is, it's just my opinion.

I love how you told me to be calm while you felt the need to type in all caps in your post.

I don't want to get into a war of words, because it's just not worth it. nothing from it was solve anything, except waste both our time.
I'm just going to say that I agree with you on some of the points you have stated and disagree with the other points you have stated...basically, agree to disagree.

As far as becoming a VIP member goes, either I will or I won't.

...are you a really sensitive individual?

You asked a question, I responded, you obviously got a bit offended that someone thought you weren't worthy enough to be VIP in a wrestling forum.

All of my points are 100% correct. You haven't been here long and haven't proved that you deserve to be VIP.

I'm actually not trying to be a bitch but it's hilarious how a new person comes in and immediately requests VIP and then makes a thread wondering why he wasn't accepted.

you won't give up on this will you? a few of your points are correct, not all. it's sad how you sit there and think that i'm offended by anything you say. I thank you for the opinions you express about this whole thing with the vip, and i'll defend my points and opinions as will you. I'm sorry if I hit a nerve with you about the VIP, is there any other sections in this fourm that I should be aware of that have your "how to guide"

It's called a discussion. If you respond to my points, is it irrational to respond back? I don't think so, so stop whining. You are obviously offended and your posts prove it. I gave my reasons why I think new people shouldn't be VIP and you start some random stupidity over a 'how to guide' when that has nothing to do with anything, you just need to fall back on something Blue to show your anger over not being VIP. My posts weren't meant to hurt your feelings, I am just giving you MY OPINION, not the opinion of the forum, though I am sure many would agree with my posts, so this 'how to guide' is irrelevant in every way. I don't have a 'how to guide', I have opinions. Don't like them, I don't give a fuck.

You tried to get VIP after a week or two, you got denied for obvious reasons, get over it, life goes on, it means nothing.

But don't you see, it's not me doing the whining...it's you. I simply went to request vip when i joined as a new member it was one of the first things i did when i joined this fourm as again a new member, then i simply asked if there is a reason as to why the request page doesn't open? and after getting answer or two, i simply said thanks and left it at that. no whining or anything of that sort, so you see, it's you doing all this whining not I. And just because you've been a member here long then I, don't think that you can just tell whatever you want and push your "how to guide" on new members.
