- Vince McMahon was reportedly disappointed with the outcome of Tough Enough and how the show failed, in his eyes, to produce new marketable talent with potential to be a top star.
They should do a better job of talent recruitment next year then, especially when you consider an actual polished talent like Aries was rejected.

With something like that idk how he expected a top star to just appear right then and there. When they come from something like that it is gonna take time. Still say the best shot of getting a star out of it was in Luke.

Parse it out. What Vince is disappointed in is the fact that nobody in the cast was ready to fit their definition of a superstar. They could keep looking for needles in the haystack, or they could take a cue from the on-screen product and expand their definition.

If he's unhappy then he shouldn't grant another season. But from what Austin and DeMott have said, there will be another one with the same people.

Well that's why Andy is in FCW right now, to try and find himself nobody has a clue if he's going to turn into the next best thing in WWE if he actually gets on Raw or Smackdown. To be honest, i think Luke would've been a better choice he has that perfect heel look that nobody likes.

And from a fans stand point i loved Tough Enough, and really hope it actually comes back for another season.

Agreed. Aries definitely should've been picked up. He coulda ran away with the show and been on SD or RAW right now.

Also, agreed. I would tune in every week to watch TE, and I tuned in Saturday nights/Sunday mornings to watch when it replayed if I missed it as well.

WWE didn't turn down Aries, Shed Media did.

WWE also didn't make the decision as IGN stated it was in Shed's deal that Austin would.

If WWE had final say, you better believe the winner would have been one of Luke, Jeremiah, or Rima all of whom had the qualities Vince likes but were either green or arrogant as hell. Austin went with the good old boy who was more polished than Jermiah, wasn't a woman, and less cocky than Luke

Hell even Eric would have gone farther with WWE making the choice

Yeah true that it really wasn't in WWE's hands so it is no surprise that Vince was unhappy from that standpoint. Same time though it seems like he wanted someone who could be a star right now and it just wouldn't have happened no matter who they picked.

While Vince didn't have much of a say when it came to Andy i just can't see the guy making it in the WWE, i could be completely wrong but we'll see. And even though Andy won i still see some of the guy's who were on the show getting FCW contracts eventually.

I heard something about Jeremiah having a match with FCW a while back. Never heard if it was just a one time thing or anything though. And i have almost no doubt that Vince will find a way to get Luke at least to a development deal for a while.

Yeah i think i heard the same thing a while ago not too sure on it though. And Luke is awesome, i think he'd be perfect if he was associated with The Miz or something.

Who expected this to be any good in the first place?

They brought in Steve Austin and Booker T just to keep it watchable.

When the WWE allows anyone other than themselves to do the recruiting, they've got nobody at all to blame imo. Also, as far as choosing who was eliminated I believe that decision was purely left down Austin & the trainers, however when it got to the final two, I actually believe that Vince had at least in a say who won, if not the ultimate say.
