I'll agree TNA relied mostly on anticipation value, appearances and debuts but it did work for them Monday. However, the charm is going to wear of really quickly. They need to take what they did with the AJ/Kurt match and make that the formula for 75% of their broadcast...incredible matches. The other 25%..sure, go ahead, squeeze in your blast from the past big names.

Couldn't agree more. I just love it when the "This IS Wrestling" chants go off in matches like those cause the fans are letting them know what they want from TNA that could separate them from the WWE. I didn't expect the main event to be that good cause of the matches before it. Most of them could have been better. The appearances and debuts were nice to see last Monday, But they can't rely on that for the upcoming days, months and years to come.

They have a great roster when you think about it, Mostly cause they got people from SHIMMER, Japan and ROH. Faces that have not been overused and still on their prime. Desmond Wolfe for example, His matches with Angle were phenomenal. I just hope TNA for once, Finally gives the people what they want cause they have so much potential.

I dunno but I got to agree with Russo about how Raw came up.. It was good but it could have been better.

That's just called paying to close attention to the point where you're looking for faults. You saw that they were driving around the block? Studying the buildings around the car is pretty lame. And Hogan saying he'd been in the back all day was a botch. Shit happens.

That's not a TNA thing. That's a network thing. They do the same thing for the UFC shows. You can't penalize TNA for something the network does.

Well it was cornette who mentioned the block stuff, I didn't realize it. But Hogan saying he was in the back all day was the first words out of his mouth after he was just shown arriving to the arena, how could you not notice that. Aside from that, by that point the show had been so bad anyways, you can't help but notice everything.

Oh and I realize its a network thing, but thats called setting them up for failure. No doubt Spike wants to go head to head eventually with Raw, when they lost WWE, TNA came looking for a TV Deal, so if Spike is so supportive they should better space out the comercials so that not as likely to lose the viewers.

TNA will come back on, say they will be right back, then go to like 2 more minutes of commercials.

^^exactly. That was just stupid...they never did it when they had 3 hours of Raw when Raw was on Spike, why would you do it now?

WWE takes in more than money thn TNA so TNA needs to pay the bills. They do it with commercials since the only merch they sell is DVDs here and there. WWE can do 15 min of commercials a show and be set to pay bills whereas TNA will need about 30

WWE doesn't make any money from the commercials as part of there deal. They never did on Spike either. Spike kept all the money from the commercials when they had Raw and USA does now too. TNA's deal on Spike is like the WWE's original deal with USA before they left, they find the sponsers and the ads. Although it may be true that TNA obtained more ads then were needed to say they needed to I don't agree with.

"Wheres the effort?" How about "Wheres the common sense?" Why the fuck did you start out IMPACT with that gay ass terrordome match? Why are Hernandez and Matt Morgan teaming up if they are supposedly the next big singles stars? Why the fuck did Bubba say the MCMG had been laid out when CLEARLY they werent? At least the WWE matches had purpose. Jericho wants back on Raw. DX wants to vanquish him. Sheamus wanted to show everyone that Raw is HIS show and Evan wanted to get a shot at the title. Cena and Swagger need to build momentum on their respective paths to the WWE Title. See, IT MAKES SENSE!!!

"Bullshit" was edited out because it was a curse on regular cable, not because it was an unexpected reaction.

Neither the "bullshit" & "holy shit" chants were edited out when I watched.

As for Hogan's explanation (See other news thread)... Either Hogan's talking shit to paper over the cracks in the show or TNA are utterly incompetent by virtue of the fact that they had already used that match gimmick.
