i think your not reading his posts.. its the WWE HoF.. not a wrestling HOF.. a WWE one..
20 years from all the midcarders from the 80's are gonna be in there.. just because its the WWE HoF..
Thank you thrice. Once for reading. Again for comprehension. And a third for backing my argument.
Kaedon, I don't know how else I can make it clearer to you. The memories, the emotion that poured fourth was raw emotion due to the celebration of a career that lasted 30 years. Only a few other wrestlers in history can even compare their careers to Flair's, yet not one has EVER received the sendoff Flair got. Not one. single. wrestler. Can you imagine how that can feel to someone who meant so much to the business? If this isn't working for you try this: The Washington Wizards gave Michael Jordan an amazing farewell in his last game and he cried. Do you think it was because
the Washington Wizards gave him due respect or the fact that the man regarded by many to be the best in his biz for so many years realized it was the last time he'd perform? Understand??
I doubt you do, because the point that your trying to establish is that it was
his induction into
the WWE HOF that made him cry for so long. Yah. That's it. 16 world titles, top draw during the final hurrah for the territory days, the mold which so many wrestlers try to force themselves into, the Horsemen, yah, NONE of that had any bearing on him, it was his
induction into the WWE's Hall that brought forth ALL of that. A company he spent less than 8 years total in meant more than EVERYTHING he accomplished. Pfft...you don't get it. It doesn't matter if it's fake, a career of a bonafide legend ending in the classiest way possible in one of the filthiest industries would make anyone cry anywhere. You emphatically persist that it was his induction, but your so far from the truth it looks like your arguing for the sake of arguing. Giving due respect was the WWE HoF induction, the fans, the industry, the legacy left behind is what had the man in tears. Nothing the WWE could have given Flair would have changed his emotions. He would have been the weeping mess if he finished his career in front of 800 people at an NWA show in the backwoods of North Carolina. It was going to happen when he hung it up, it just happened to be in a WWE ring.
And it certainly doesn't matter if the industry is fake, all forms of entertainment outside of legit sports are fake and yet they have walks and Halls of Fame. I really don't know how to touch on that without people twisting words and thoughts and making invalid arguments.

Pretty irrelevant point then, when all that was being debated in the post you responded to was WHY the fuck a jobber like Koko is getting inducted.
Well, if you had actually read either of my posts, you'd realize I summed up Koko getting inducted in two sentences, not my entire post. I can summarize the part you failed to comprehend :Vince doesn't have a problem putting anyone into HIS HOF, because it isn't a real Hall with real qualifications to get in. If Vince owns your likeness through his extensive video library and you are on good grounds with the company and you really need a payday (i.e all the washups I mentioned) and had some small memorable role, then you will probably get in. So, your bitchin and nitpickin was irrelevant, since it really doesn't matter what these guys did in the past, they're all still in the same boat when they get inducted by the same person who decides.
This is a Hall of Fame with a 'Celebrity' wing which inducts 7+ guys a year.
Totally not a joke.
I'm hoping that's sarcasm I'm detecting because there is no need to further point out the absurdity of the WWE HoF than the Celebrity "wing". It's very sad and very telling when Bruno and Bob Backlund aren't, and never will be inducted, and both of those guys should be waayyyyy ahead of Savage, Warrior, Angle and Foley anyways.
So hopefully this post kind of set things straight. People should certainly read thoroughly before they start throwin stones at a man sittin on a pile of bricks.
