Yeah the reason is bc he used WWE money for it which he shouldn't have been able to (I agree of course but that's not the issue here) so he has to pay back the payments in full and WWE gets it all back but then is essentially taxed what they would have recognized in profits if Vince wouldn't have made the payments which is about 400k.

This is the one WWE cooperated with the most in fairness too and it was purely to pay back taxes, the sexual assault was just the backdrop
