- WWE is apparently taking aim at New Japan Pro Wrestling's popular Bullet Club stable. WWE recently registered to trademark the old Kliq/nWo hand gesture for merchandise purposes. This is the same gesture that The Bullet Club currently uses. Below is the version WWE is trying to trademark:

Silly thread title to fit a silly piece of news.

Seems kinda silly considering the BC/NJPW doesn't use the wolfpack symbol in any of their promotional material/merchandise.

Completely idiotic. That hand symbol has been around long before the NWO ever existed and WWE has absolutely no creative claim to it. One of the most pathetic things they have ever tried to do.

It wouldn't do him much good anyway. Although American intellectual property rights are enforceable in Japan, a preliminary hearing in a civil suit takes an average of three to five years to take place and the secondary and third hearings average about 3 years a piece. Plus Japan does not allow for punitive damages to be awarded for infringement of intellectual property so at the very most, this is just a statement to them.

Watch them try to trademark the thumbs up sign for Jim Duggan next.

Or trademark calling anyone a "ho" since Duggan always yells that and sometimes comes out and calls a Diva that.

Then they gonna trademark the salute for Cena. Now the military will have to pay Vince. This was his plan all along, that bastard! :mog:

Or to get back at the World Wildlife Fund for those years the two were at odds, they can trademark rattlesnakes and vipers and order them to pay money any time someone sees one of those snakes (okay, that one is beyond silly, but so is what WWE is actually doing).

Don't forget any animals, and they have to refer to them as Batistas

Couldn't it have been the crotch chops instead. Out of them and the wolfpack sign the BC looks like the biggest idiots when doing the crotch chops.

Plus they have more of a legitimate claim on the crotch chops. I've never seen one of those before DX began doing them.
