Pretty much asking what you believe in - are you someone who believes in the scientific explanation of evolution, or are you religious? If so, in what way are you religiously inclined?

Personally, I guess I'm of Christian belief. I'm not overly religious or anything, but I do believe in a God. Perhaps it's just because I want to believe there's a purpose to me being on this planet rather than believing that my life doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things, but yes, I do believe there's a God. It's actually something I think of daily, and it's the conclusion I always settle upon. I don't really pray or anything, nor do I go to church, but I'm of that belief.

So what do you believe? Any deep thoughts out there etc?

Probably the only serious post I'm going to make in the non-wrestling portion of the forum. I hope you enjoyed it.

I believe in god, but no like overly religious or anything like that. Not really a believer of the whole heaven and hell aspect.

Personally I don't believe in god and probably never will. How am I supposed to believe that he's going to answer my call when there's so much pain and suffering in the world and people in a less fortunate state that i'm in.

I don't believe in any God(s) I used to when I was a Christian but there's just so much evidence against one actually existing that I find it hard to believe one could possibly exist. Even when I did believe in God I wasn't overly religious and never properly worshiped him or went to church. I feel worshiping someone is unnecessary why would a being so great feel the need to be pandered to by lesser beings?

Not that I want to start a religious debate, but I think it's all a very...cold...challenge. That's just me.

I'm supposed to be Catholic, but since the Catholic Church is complete bullshit, I'm simply Christian. I still believe in God, Jesus, and all of that, but Catholic just stretches things. They basically tell anyone who's not Christian that they go to hell.

I'm agnostic, but i like the idea of their being some sort of afterlife so i could see the people i have known that have passed on again.

I guess I would fall under the atheist-apatheist spectrum.

For the most part, that stuff just doesn't occur to me. At all. I'm from a somewhat religious family. My mom goes to temple. My aunt is deeply religious. But it wasn't forced on me and I was allowed to formed my own opinion.

Till now, the idea of a supreme being existing hasn't affected my life, all my victories have been due to my own hard work and all my losses due to my own folly, so I don't see how this idea has any relevance to my life. I'm not against religion as an idea though, I like to hear people talking about their religion/beliefs and I like philosophy. (Only reason I didn't pick that as my major subject was because I preferred English.) Anyway though, I just don't see how it has relevance to my life, but I wonder if it really affects those people on the inside, whether they feel more assured/together than people who don't believe....
