Duke Rufus is the coach of Anthony Pettis, who's known for some of the flashiest moves in the UFC today. Pettis is a Tae Kwon Do fighter which has not been a very prominent style used in MMA. But one person who has been a known TKD fighter is Joe Rogan - the UFC color commentator is a 2nd degree black belt in the discipline and has a slew of championship accolades to back.

Rogan recently stopped by at the Duke Rufus university of striking, and the two made a video. Here is the result:

Personally I think TKD is an underutilized form of fighter that is definitely transferable in MMA. This is pretty fucking cool!

2:32 - Anthony Pettis tried that in the Clay Guida fight.

Joe Rogan is a beast.

And I agree, when guys manage to incorporate Taekwondo styles and kicks into MMA it's always fantastic.

My coach teaches us some TKD kicks to use in fights. They're amazing when they're used in fights and dirty when they connect on point.

Definitely beats watching any wrestler take someone down and try to hump them for 15 minutes.
