How do you blow your chance? You've been begging for this moment for 3.5 years and THAT'S the ammo you had in your tank?

Thank you for being Uninspired...thank you for being Uncool... thank you for Unfunny

You're the only dude in wrestling right now, wearing a beard that deserves that Triple U

I honestly don't know if you're talking about Orton, Triple H or Bryan. Either way, it's unjustified to bash whoever it is so hard.

The thread was dedicated to Orton and the rant was completely justified in my eyes considering he did nothing to change his character from the past 3.5 years.

well tbh there was so much going on that i think Orton kinda got lost in the mix, the next couple of weeks will make or break him as a heel for most fans, if he finds the legend killer attitude again then he will be a great heel, if he fails to do that, then he will fail big time, as thats what most of us want from the Randy heel turn, he could be an amazing heel as we all know, but to judge on one night when so much else was happening is hard to call

That crowd surprisingly disappointed me. It was alright at first. But constant attempts to replicate the Raw post-mania crowd just didn't get me into it. Not forgetting that they were dead during most segments.
He didn't get the boos you'd expect him to get probably because it was only one night removed SS, and people were probably still a bit confused with Orton as Scarlette mentioned on this thread. But in due time, Orton will get the boos.

Well, he's just turned, he was really over and changed his character now so yeah, it'll take a while for him to get heat. But it's not a big problem.

I've referred to Orton's SummerSlam heel turn as a "phantom heel turn". The reason for this is because Orton's character hasn't changed at all. It shouldn't have to chage, because Orton was basically a heel already. He just got cheered for his heel behavior.

That's not necessarily a bad thing. Or at least it wasn't until Monday night.

Since Orton's character hasn't really changed, you have to examine what he did to become a face in the first place. He started to act a little more lively and play to the crowd more. He let them know he was having a little fun and the fans appreciated that. Of course, now that he's an actual heel again, how does he show the crowd he's back to his heel ways? I think we'll see a return to his more arrogant side. I think we'll see more of the "Legend Killer"-type persona or how he acted when he was with Evolution (very similar characters). It's a character archetype that will make him a heel without changing key aspects of his current character. For now, though, his character has to be carried by HHH until they figure out exactly how he'll best play heel to the crowd.

Judging by last night's Raw, the Orton heel turn is progressing nicely. Has the "vandalize heel's expensive vehicle" angle been done to death? Yes. But that doesn't mean it's not entertaining within the right story line, and with the right characters, as it was done Monday night.

I've always been a big fan of heel Randy Orton. He's similar to The Rock because both guys can portray perfect natural heels, yet I always find them both to be very bland & boring characters as the babyface.....(obviously that's only my personal taste, both men can sell t-shirts & draw as faces)

I was still seeing/hearing very minimal heat for Orton when I watched Raw. In fact, when his music heats, he wins a match, ect I still hear the squeals of his faithful lady fans.

Seem to remember the crowd completely face-popping for Blandy when be beat Christian. Not too surprising since Orton was over and HHH's heat isn't going onto Randy.
But the crowd's popping for Triple too so far... The hell?

But after that when Bryan was getting beaten down in the ring the crowd couldn't stop popping for the fucking Big Show. Maybe it's more believable to see that big lug come down there and clear house, but wouldn't you be chanting Ziggler there? Know I was. Reigns had his back turned and I was yelling "Aww shit, he's gonna take a Zig-Zag time! Wait, what? Big Show chants?"

At least this clearly casual crowd that doesn't appreciate the greatness of Ziggler does appreciate Bryan as much as we do. :yay:

I'm glad you brought up Ziggler so now I can bitch. His only TV time on Raw was to say nothing after being asked an interview question. Brilliant. WWe talks about guys stepping up, but they don't even give Ziggler a fucking chance.

Yeah, man. Know how you think by now. :haha:

Totally with your Ziggler negativity now by the way. Had some hope for this storyline doing something for him, but after the SD Spoilers it's clear as day that they're grouping him in with Big Show and Miz to be the babyfaces HHH steps on just to put himself over. Because Triple H needs that so much.

Eh, whatever. At this point I'm just waiting for the fans just get tired of waiting as he gets full-on Kofi Kingston Syndrome.
